Watching sky fall made me think that there aren't many good hacker films. The only one I can think of is sneakers and that's ancient.

Surely I must be missing some.

    Suggestions?

An no, not Hackers or Cyber tech PD. They are both awesome but for all the wrong reasons.

If you can read this you really need to fiddle with your forum settings.

Sneakers may be old (when did 21 years become ancient?), but it's still totally awesome.
    Plus, Mary McDonnell is gorgeous.

    Others of that ilk?

Hackers, obviously, but you've mentioned that.
    Swordfish has cybercrime elements.

I'm sure I there's at least one more, but I can't think of it. I'll be back.

Wargames is a good call. And I live sneakers. Will see it this evening in fact.

But it's weird that it have been topped. Swordfish is in the same club as hackers. Entertaining but unrealistic.

    Jurassic Park.
    Weird Science.
    Die Hard 4.
    The Matrix.

    All, ver, very loosely speaking.

Whilst not about hacking per se. 'The Lives of Others' is quite, quite brilliant.

Hackers is on Netflix btw and suggests Real Genius, Abduction, Snake Eyes, FX2, Arachnophobia and The Lazarus Project as alternatives.

Give yourself 5 or gig, you're worth it.

Harrison Ford has one called Firewall. Seen it years ago and can't remember if it's any good though.

Probably not, considering the pisch he's put out in the last 15+ years..
