That said, the clown wasn't a suicide bomber. He ran out after dropping his accordion (bomb).

Also Minidiscs were excellent as a recording platform, invaluable when I was DJing in my teens and needed to record 90 minute plus mixes cheaply. Shame they died a death really.I'll never get my Orc looking the same again.

Registered 4 years agoWould only consider a Vita when a MGS game is made for it.
Sony have gotten the PS3 and PSP Vita so wrong, trying to attract the casual gamer and doing nothing for the rest of us. -

Intense because it sounds like IN TENTS and fires can be INTENSE.

Wha?
Since when was the PS3 (or Vita) aimed at the casual gamer? I loathe the terms 'casual' and 'hardcore', but anyway...
Skipping back to 2007... Bluray player (when stand alone units cost a fortune), HDMI/component out (back when HD compatible sets held a mere fraction of the market they do now), online gaming, upgradable hard drive that required you to know what 2.5" SATA was. Launch games included Resistance (sci fi shooty fun), Motorstorm (visceral arcade racing) and Virtua Fighter 5 (probably the deepest fighting game ever developed). Don't forget that €630 price tag.
Sony royally ballsed up the marketing of the PS3 for a few years, but one thing they certainly did not do is target the 'casual' market. Look at their key franchises - God of War, Gran Turismo, Uncharted, Heavy Rain, inFamous, etc. These are all aimed squarely at (what I call) traditional gamers.
Sure, they've tried for a slice of the Nintendo waggle-pie with Move, but it's not exactly rammed down people's throats.Girl, you thought he was a man, but he was a muffin.

I've done some quick changes to the upcoming release list. Here's how it's looking.
RCR is based off a tweeted reply from the official Twitter account. Munch's Oddysee is based off a reply on the Playstation Blog.
The rest are from various press releases and in some cases PEGI ratings.
Except for Putty Squad, which seems to have had a constantly changing release date since the Vita's launch...

Registered 7 years agoNo one else actually buy the vita because they wanted console ports? The 360 doesn't impress me now so want to play those games on a handheld. The vita is giving me exactly what I wanted and I'm drowning in games as a result. The I phone dominates mobile gaming now, doing it better than the 3ds ffs. If I want an original and inventive handheld game, I'll find it on my phone before I find it on the 3ds or vita. I want to play nfs, fifa, mk, sfvstekken, mgs etc. Etc.
