Is this a competition to see who gave up on Okami the fastest?

I quit at the title screen. Beat that.
I was going to buy it, but didn't. Do i win?
I, uh, um... I refuse to buy any system that even has Okami on it. If an ad for it comes on TV, I smash the TV.

@Graveland that sounds like playing most free to play games.

I'm a big Final Fantasy Fan....But I just couldn't get on with Final fantasy Tactics, this was in the 90s....everyone seems to love it, I just didn't get the love. It was boring.

FF tactics is ok, but it does play like a watered down version of the Tactics Ogre games, which are real gems.

I love tactics games like Disgaea and advance Wars but never liked FFT. (Oddly I did like FFTA though).

Playing Tactics Ogre now and really like it. Somehow arsed it up though and have ended up on the chaos path.

Oooh, just remembered another; borderlands 2. Was expecting to love it and found myself utterly loathing it; gutting. Bullet-sponge shooters=bad, 'humour'=wore thin after the first 30 minutes, endless, endless looking in boxes=dull. I'm obviously missing something with it as the rest of the world loves it...

@modula I feel the same. I want to love it. But I just find myself not.

@Matt36 I really enjoyed it, but after getting to level 50 the spawn-u-like enemies and so on are wearing thin.

I don't think I would enjoy another sequel for a good couple of years unless they made some major AI changes and vastly different world.

I think it's worth playing, despite the pretty rubbish driving section and somewhat irritating monster in the middle section it still has some excellent atmosphere. I've always thought that Valve's take on the actual shooting part of FPS lacks something and this is no different so if you didn't enjoy the combat in other HL related stuff then you wont like the shooting in HL2.
Seen this a lot in this thread and it makes no sense to me. Gravity gun was a brilliant innovation and the rest of the weapons were fine. The AI was great too for the most part. I can't think of anything in its league from 2004.

@RobTheBuilder I just don't know why I can't enjoy it. It just doesn't hook my attention like other games do. The first was the same.

@DrStrangelove I don't think I ever tried the demo so I can't say how it compared to the full game. I remember seeing the new releases video on Xbox Live and thinking it didn't look much cop. I was a big fan of the X-Men around Age of Apocalypse so the Joe Mad stuff should have been my cup of tea. I then picked the game up some months later when it was sub 15 and found I loved it. I've played it through twice on 360 and once on PC. It's rough around the edges in places but I really enjoyed the gameplay and art style. I'm not going to say the pointless "you should play it 'cause I loved it and think everyone else should" stuff. You didn't like the demo, fair enough.

I think Borderlands is arse. Tried getting into it on PS3 when they included it on PS+, couldn't.

Had the opportunity to pick up the GotY & a spare copy for pennies on 360 so me & the Mrs could play it co-up with all the DLC.

Just.... could't get on with it. Bland & monotonous.

Anyone who's enjoyed a Zelda (or similar) game would probably really enjoy Okami.

I honestly would. Free Okami's for everyone! It's not on GameCube though.

@Graveland My biggest regret of my gaming life is never picking up the GC version of the TP. Wii destroys games souls.

Yeah, Okami was superficially dull but people thought it deep due to art design. It wasn't.

It was clunky, confusing and boring.

Frankly, if you have a PS3 and play games on it... you're mental if you don't have PS+.

Which Okami was included with this month, 100% discount.
