Best pull out my best jokes then.

A man wakes up in a hospital.

"Doctor, doctor! I can't feel my legs!"

"That is because you were in a horrible car accident and we had to remove your arms."

    I've always turned to Bill The Butcher from Gangs of New York for an outside perspective on the Irish;

Bill: On the seventh day the Lord rested, but before that he did, he squatted over the side of England and what came out of him... was Ireland. No offense son.

Daniel Day Lewis saved that film. It's probably just as well he applied for Irish citizenship before he took that role though.

    Yes, yes they were!

I recall going to a Lizzy tribute years ago (about 2002), one of my mates was asked by a co-worker what were his plans for the weekend. "Oh, I'm going to Thin Az Lizzy tonight". His work buddy responded with "thought you were mad into your music?! They're just THIN LIZZY". What a fucker :)

On topic - i wasn't aware that one country's people having an opinion of another was a 'thing' any more? My only opinion of England (as a spud-lovin' Paddy) is that it requires a plane or ferry to visit certain relatives/friends, and displayed a modicum of sense in not joining the common currency.

It was a shock him passing, although he was an Ulsterman, and Lizzy were Irish.
    Another example of their uniquity.

We never did find out what happened. Committed suicide presumably. Going to have to listen to him now.

I'm not sure if there's more to Ireland than this.
    /Northern roots

The Irish are lovable rascals and the accent on women is incredibly attractive.

You can be both a native of Ulster AND Irish, you know. There are three Irish counties in Ulster along with the six Northern Irish counties.

I do realise Gary Moore was from Belfast and thus Northern Irish, which is the point you were making, but just wanted to point out that Ulster is not another name for Northern Ireland in case anyone was thinking that.

    I'm Irish.

Grandpa Simpson "Naturally blames it on the Irish. Hanged more than a few."
    I laughed.

    That is all. Boyo.

My favourite word is Fuzwuzzle, screamed into the cold night air.
