Does something like this exist? Like Sega's old school Mega Drive compilation disc but with Ninty games from years ago.

Not when they can pop them up individually on the Virtual Console at over a fiver a pop.

Super Mario All-Stars is pretty much it (and even that had a cheeky price on it at first) - Nintendo are far bigger fans of re-selling the same games on the likes of the Virtual Console, so never really do compilations much. There's also the less retro but excellent Metroid Prime Trilogy. Can't think of any more.

I'd kick the living daylights out of the producers of Tipping Point - Ghandi

It's every game they'll release for the next decade.

No worries. It's part of a christmas present so was going to try and pick up some retro games if possible. Oh well.

There was a Kirby collection released this year in Japan and the US but they chose not to bring it over here. Bastards.

There is also the Super Mario All-Stars 25th Anniversary Edition for Wii but its pretty terrible and best avoided.

It's not a terrible game by any stretch of the imagination - it was just a rip-off on release. It's a SNES game stuck on a disc, plus some nice extras that should've been 10 max. The game itself is still as great as it ever was :)

Even then, it's just a re-release of an older compilation.

Well, yeah obviously their not terrible games, it was just a lackluster and extortionate anniversary package. Absolutely no work went into it.

For celebrating Marios 25th it was pretty fucking feeble.

I'm probably the only guy in the world that thinks the NES game prices on the VC aren't too bad. I spend a ton of time playing them, so they're still great value for money, for me at least.
