Something to do with decompression I think. You don't have to stop as many times on the way down or something?

Fish fingers and chips pretty straight forward.

It allows for longer dive times.

It allows you to stay under water longer, as demonstrated by that freak recently, who kept his face under water for (iirc) 22 minutes, but only after breathing pure oxygen, or enriched air, or air with crispy bits in it or something.

    whatfruit is the winner.

It allows for longer dive times due to having less nitrogen in it.
It DOES NOT allow you to dive deeper - due to the higher percentage of oxygen you are more likely to suffer from oxygen toxicity.

Ah oxygen toxicity. Not that many people believe oxygen is toxic.

The world is going mad. Me? I'm doing fine.

Well, it isn't at the percentage in air! :)
(I haven't actually done the Enriched Diver course, but it's not hard to understand the basics.)

Christ, there's probably loads. Off the top of my head:

    Blade Runner
    Paycheck(que)
    Total Recall (2 versions)
Isn't that Nic Cage film one of his too? Next?
    Imposter
    ...blanking now.

Sure there's a couple more as well. I'll go with eight, but I can't name them.

EDIT: Minority Report. Scanner Darkly. Adjustment Bureau. Probably some more on top of those.

Meme's list seems pretty close to all of them I'd have thought. The only one I'd add is Screamers, starring Peter Weller of Robocop fame, which would make 10. So I'll shoot with 10.

    Theatrical movie adaptations.

In which case I'm not sure Imposter would count either, because that might have been direct-to-video. Hmm.

Tempted to wiki just because I'm never going to get it and there's probably some obscure Canadian film of Man In The High Castle or something that no-one's ever heard of.

What are the 13? Wikipedia links to 12, which did the Philip K Dick page miss?

You've got Blade Runner, Total Recall, Total Recall with no-one getting their ass to Mars, Barjo, Screamers, Minority Report, Imposter (was released in US cinemas), Paycheck, Scanner Darkly, Next, Radio Free Albemuth & The Adjustment Bureau. That's 12 so far. What's the other that's actually been released? Google isn't helping with this one, every list I find has 12 max.

    You've listed thirteen there.

EDIT: No you haven't - was reading Scanner and Darkly as two films for some reason. Ignore me.

I'm afraid I'm sticking with 12 as the official answer, though it's a moot point anyway. Given I based my guess on meme's list plus one, I think you should be the the one quizzing us now.

Okay, have something ridiculously hard, for shits and giggles

    What connects the following:

    The number 69105
    The actor Martin Sheen
The band The American Analog Set
    The 1991 Soviet coup d'état

    ?

To be fair, this is less a "I will know that" question and more a "look them up and try to work out the connection" one. But still. Learning!
