    Another browser thread:

    For Firefox:

Bluemonkey: Very minimalistic, looks ectremely nice imo - scroll down on the page past the "Whiteheart" skin

    For Opera:

Oxid 2.2 Stunningly beautiful, probably the best browser skin I've ever seen

On the same page is also Operatic Orbit, which is very comfortable to use due to the distinct buttons

Links will only lead to the correct page until they add new skins. :-)

    Other nice Opera skins:

MeGuiDo if you're after something else (a very dark skin), and KDE Longing, which looks quite standard, but just that little bit nicer

    So, over to you.

A little unrelated, but I've lost the fonts on Opera. Everything menu and button-wise is now in courier.

Now that thread really took off, pearls before swine. \o/

Dirtbox, can't you just change the fonts in tools/options/fonts?

I'm using Ancyent. It looks quite... er, ancyent, but I like the minimalistic style. Makes my screen appear even bigger than it already is \o/

What's the difference between IE (Which I'm using), FF, and Opera?
    And which would you recommend?

I'm still a big fan of Arvid's Qute, as shipped with the earlier releases of FireFox.

Is there a skin that makes FF as close to Opera as possible? And what about an extension that make FF remember which pages where open when it closed down last?

I'm using a lovely minimalist skin called Straccio!, one of the nices i've came across, suits my Windows colour scheme at work and here.

After I installed Tabbrowser extensions I'm not able to install any new extensions. Have anyone else had similar troubles?

For opera I just put it on system default and let it blend in with what I'm already using... yer see?.

Get Windowblinds. And then got to wincustomize.com. Now.

Nah, the last time I installed styles for XP I ended up having to format and reinstall to get it back in proper order again...

    StyleXP?

    Pfft. N00o0o000b.

Edit to elaborate: I've had Windowblinds installed on 7 PC's during different incarnations of Windows and have NEVER had any problems with one single one of them due to it. It's the best skinning program out there because it doesn't touch Windows system files, uses no more ram than the default XP theme and looks a whole shit load better.

StyleXP is a try-hard wannabe. And Those other OS packs are for lunatics.

Mmh, the author himself doesn't recommend his extension because it is so buggy (as you might have noticed when you downloaded it ;-). That said, I've been using it for more than a year on two different PCs with different OS/extensions set-ups and have had no problems whatsoever.

You might want to try Tab Mix instead. I haven't used it myself, but apparently it covers most of TE's functions without causing so many problems.
