    @DUFFKING

I'd say yes, had mine for just under a week. If anything I'd say battery life could be better but having said that I've got more apps to mess with and can actually visit websites without the page shutting down... Won't miss the blackberry 9300

@DUFFKING it's a really nice phone. Does require charging every night though. Well, I'm sure you could get more hours in by switching gps on and off etc.

If you can read this you really need to fiddle with your forum settings.

Or you could patiently wait and see how much better the new Nexus 5 will be?

... won't be long until it'll be unveiled!

Saying that, 199 for a SIM free 16GB Nexus 4 is a very attractive proposition.

Hey Nexus 4 owners. Quick question.

How's the stock messaging app for group texting? I'm not fussed about fancy MMS-style group texts where when you respond, the whole group sees it as a thread.

I play football on the weekends and need to send out a message to a group of people (12 in total) to alert of time changes, cancellations etc. I remember when I owned a Galaxy Note 1, I could only send a message to a max of 10 people in a message through the stock app. It wouldn't let me add any more. Has this changed? The other stupid thing is that you couldn't click the 'to' field and choose a whole group in your contacts, you had to enter each name one by one.

I did download an app when I had the Note, called Handcent. This allowed me to select a group from my contacts, but instead of showing a thread my stock message app, it showed the same message 12 times, which was really annoying. I don't understand why it couldn't show the sent message (regardless of how many people I sent it to) in one thread.

I'm not sure I want a 5 inch screen, seems a bit big. I need a new phone ASAP is the issue, this one's just a fucking dud.

Get the 5-inch screen, you'll adjust within a day or two and wonder how you managed with less.

@BurnoutJunkie the stock one hasn't got it. But you can use weChat or WhatsApp.

The Nexus 5 is leaking all over the web.

I'm curious about that big thing around the lens. But it won't affect me as I'm hoping I wont have to replace my phone for at least two more years.

@Tonka - when you say hasn't got it, which part of my message are you referring to? I understand if you can't pick a group of people at once via the stock message app, but can you manually input more than 10 people by typing in their names? When I had the Note, it was a limit of 10 peoople.

Re. stuff like What's App - I find SMS the easiest because everyone has a mobile phone, but not everyone has a either a smartphone or one of these fancy messaging apps.

    Thanks.

@BurnoutJunkie I haven't tried to send message to more than two people at the same time so I can't help you with that.

If you need a phone now, no point in waiting for the Nexus 5. Whatever it ends up being worth, who knows how long you'll have to wait to get your hands on one, given Google's history of shortages.

As it happens, I've switched to a Nexus 4 from a Desire S and I find the thing amazing. It's quick as all hell and feels lovely to the touch as well. Not too impressed with battery life (I get about 36 hours with moderate use), but hope things will get better with an update.

No, if it was identical, then it wouldn't be new, would it?

Not as daft as your first comment. The new screen alone is worth the asking price.

Yeah, it's much quicker, both with Chrome and opening and transition of apps. I'm very impressed.

So what are you using in between?

And isn't it two weeks left until the reveal. You'll be phone less for two months at least

I want the 5 as well but will hold off seeking my current phone until I can actually get hold of one. Too attached to having a phone with me to go without one now.
