    I was reminiscing about Solider of Fortune the other day! I hope a version of it appears on XBLA someday , along with Toy Commander.

    Does anyone remember a game called Dynamite Cop? It would also be perfect for XBLA or a handheld console.

    its amazing how fun PS2 games are and you don't have to worry about DLC, online passes and no adverts on the XMB.

    A PS2 is next on my agenda. New their holding their value quite nicely (120ish!) but i have been looking as used ones - everyone i know who had one though says their not entirely reliable the older they get?

    Is it probably worth saving a few pennies up and getting a new one?

    Vice City.
    I played an hour or two of VCS on the ps2 (still my old fat one, must of had it over 10 years now)last night
    The graphics are poor, but not if you know what I mean. I love the game due to the setting/sounds (I am 40 :( ) Mrs Duff was amazed how "bad" it looked, and when you think of GTAIV it is of course, but the car handling is spot on and so much better than GTAIV (but we have all argued to death about that)and as always the music and DJ's make it brilliant. Did my usual of driving around waiting for a song or DJ chat to come on, and just pulled up in the car and chilled ;)

    ...I then played the Ada missions on RE4...what are you selling ?

    @Ultrasoundwave - yup, it's all working perfectly. Tried out super mario world on the snes and it's fine. It's a bit blurry through the standard aerial (And to be fair, I've got it on the wii from the thingy online shop thing), but it's still the same beautifulness as I remember

    Dreamcast works a treat too - all controllers, steering wheel, vmu's all working fine.

    Wish I hadn't have lobbed my amiga and 64 out now, but at least I have good emulators for them on the pc.

    What I really miss is my old pc engine, with mota-roader. That was a laugh

    But I still have wacky races and a steering wheel!

    @spacewarrior This.

    The only real technical troubles you've got to look out for are the lasers wearing out, which isn't really a big deal as you can still pick them up on the likes of ebay for less than a tenner and they're easy to install.

    Seconded, spacewarrior. If only the controller was as durable as the console itself ;)

    My copy of Shenmue II showed up - mint condition and chuffed with it!

    All in all, 70 for Shenmue 1 and 2 - not too bad considering some of the prices I've seen!. Now to fire them up!

    @Rens11

    Thats exactly what ive done mate, my advice is to play it carefully though. The line i used when we moved in (about a year ago now) was : "Give me a game room and you can do what you want with the rest of the house" - worked a treat.

    Over the last 12 months, Ive managed to get a new sofa in there and set up the 360/PS3 with a 46" Samsung LED and a surround sound system. My next step is to get a bigger display cabinet for the Mega Drive, Saturn, PS1 and Dreamcast.

    Oh the joys of being a nerd........

    I wouldn't if I were you... Played it at a mate's house long ago, that thing is bad. It's cumbersome to use, the games aren't all that fun and it'll hurt your eyes so much.

    It was never officially released so that's probably a fake.

    The game itself was real though, was decent enough but had lots of long loading times. May still get it from dcforums if they still exist.

    Balls!

    Now that you mention it, that cover looks a bit too crisp - im pretty sure the Dreamcast blue isnt that dark either :confused:.

    I was quite shocked when i discovered this, i had no idea that they even thought about releasing half-life on the DC.

    Doing an eBay search for it though and and the only thing i can find is a strategy guide for 45.

    45!!!!!!????? :eek:

    The game was finished but the publisher canned it - it's one of the few that were complete but never released(like Propeller Arena).

    It's not the best version by any standards but it did have an interesting side story 'Blue Shift' that covered the attack on Black Mesa from the security details view. Was pretty decent.

    I'm sure if you look hard enough you can find it on the interweb somewhere ;)

    I've recently started replaying my PS2 games, using an emulator to upscale them to 1080p. Makes a huge difference.
