Spent my first day off in weeks (not counting seeing the in-laws over Christmas) listening to the top 5 Radiohead albums in full. In Rainbows, Kid A, OK Computer, A Moon Shaped Pool and Amnesiac (in that order).

    I like you.

I've been doing the same but as a post break up thing, thank god I was into them before the ex entered my life!

Currently listening to Slowdive by Slowdive. Utterly sumptuous.

Most recent one, Auras, has a particularly nice shoegaze dreampop feel to it.

Yeah, it's nice. It doesn't have the texture of Slowdive but it still caresses the ear.

@FrostPan I used to like the bends, but certain tracks really jar with me now. I don't like the title track, Bones or High and Dry anymore. There's other tracks from the era that would have been better suited. Lift and Talk Show Host really should have been on that album!

Sting and the Police - Don't Stand So Close To Me. Apt as I'm on a busy train.

@LittleSparra First time i've ever listened to anything by them before! They popped up a few times during my daily web browsing so I decided to give them a try. Kinda kicking myself for having never heard them before.

    This is a great video/song.

I am truly sad that the cheapest copy of this I can find on record is Ł45.

Loving that Karate album above. The lo-fi 90s sound reminds me a lot of this, we used to cover this in my college band back in the day. Happy memories of an awesome time.

Another vote for the Slint love-in! Spiderland is a genuine classic. I was lucky enough to see them here in Brighton a few years back.

Spanish Sahara by Foals having heard their bassist has quit.

I think they were in the studio working on the next lp too. :(

Hope it's not the end & they keep going.

I'm still pretending it's 20 years ago, I'm back in college and life is easy and fun. Terrorvision were fucking cool before that Tequila song bullshit.
