@FuzzyDuck Used to listen to Knse quite a lot back in the day. One of the finest black metal albums in my collection.

    @-cerberus-

I've only been getting into them recently, Luc Lemay seems to be mentioning them a good bit, so I figured they could be worth while (I'm not a massive BM fan) checking them out, and yep, they're ticking all the right boxes for sure.

    Must explore further :D

The new Nine Inch Nails album, Hesitation Marks. As someone that prefers NIN's more recent albums (The Slip & Year Zero), I'm really enjoying this one as well.

You were right, thanks so much! What a beautiful soul that guy has, an absolute legend. It's shameful he didn't get recognition outside SA in his musician days

I think the only comparable documentary I've seen is Jandek on Corwood. Definitely worth seeing.

"I understand you have never heard a Jandek song in your life and I'd like to describe that for ya...uh, there's a man in a room, he's got a guitar, he know's a few chords and...he's a melancholy sort. He picks up the guitar and he sort of free-associates his way through several minutes. Then he stops and he does it again, and he does it over 20 or so odd albums. There it is."
"Imagine you're 10 years old and you've never played a guitar, then you just start hitting strings, and you're like 'that sounds pretty good! that's pretty exciting!' and you start singing the blues from stream of consciousness and that's kind of what it sounds like at first impression. Upon closer listening i think there's more going on, but...if you just hear it first off that's your first impression"

The new Arctic Monkeys album, and it's shite. Congrats lad, you've continued to not put out a decent album since Favourite Worst Nightmare.

I'll never get my Orc looking the same again.

Unmixed copy of the album I spent part of last week contributing to. Think I'm at the point where I'm hearing mistakes and shit that aren't there.

    I'm a grumpy bastard.

@warlockuk I get that as well. And just when you think everything's perfect and the master copy goes into production, you spot yet another mistake or a bass line that could've used some improvements

Well this weekend i have listened to Goldfrapps new album which i like a lot, the coral debut album, which is probably the most underated album of all time, and black sabbaths paranoid.

Also i been pretty much listening to funakdelics maggot brain for a good couple weeks now daily.
