I picked up a Meat Puppets album a few days ago (from a charity shop - natch).

    It's perfect for a sunny stoner-esque Sunday:

Quite a lot of Dr Feelgood, since I am watching their rather entertaining 'Oil city confidential' documentary with a plethora of beers.

    Wonderful.

This is probably going to get me some stick. But being completely out of it as far as good music now I just stumbled upon the Macklemore and Ryan Lewis Album, The Heist. Fuck me if I'm not bloody loving it. Never heard of these guys before but it is brilliant. Can't speak to the lyrics but Macklemore has an awesome voice and flows wonderfully to the beat and Ryan Lewis is putting together some of the best, catchy and damn right bouncing beats I've heard in a long time. Such a fun album.

    Bits and bobs.
Trying to remember the name of this group:

Which then brought up a load of other stuff.

Dunno how exactly I came across this, but I must be one of the few people left in the Western Hemisphere to see it. If you're one of the few others, then watch the drummer.

One of my own tunes that's nearing completion.

It's been hours and hours of work. So complex, so bloody annoying at times but very cathartic for me.

Still can't decided if I like certain parts of it or not.

    The Police - Zenyatta Mondatta

The Resident Evil films. I'm one of the reasons they keep making them.

The Dear Esther Soundtrack. It makes me want to narrate things in a hauntingly cracked manner.

The National - Trouble Will Find Me. It took a couple of listens (as these albums normally do) but it really is phenomenal.

Took me an unbelievable amount of of times to tune into this album. I almost hated it the first two times. I Need My Girl is still the best song on there, but the others have sunk into me now.

Laura Marling new album dropped through the door in the week, first half of it is really really good. Some great songs in there. Second half is so-so, but a couple of great tracjs in there too.

Also Porcupine Tree - Fear Of a blank Planet, really in to this album at the moment.

Also a little bit of Queens of the stone age in prep for next week with their new album.

@joelstinton I really really like her new one (Marling), apparently the vocals and guitar were done in one take! And she's far too young to have released 4 albums, /feelsold.

Yeah the guitar sound is really nice too. She like 23? That one probably issue with the album is that it sounds as though its written by a 45 year old woman, its really mature. I guess thats a testament to her writing skills. Really is impressive.

if she needs a proper man i'm all here ha!

It's been a day for listening to music thus far. No redecoration to be done for a change for a start.

Even got to read the Sunday papers in peace!

First up was John Grant's 'Pale Green Ghosts' album, now it's Tricky's new one. Sounds good so far.

It is a great track but I think Pink Rabbits is a National classic.
