    How do you share/gather intel?

Oh and for those struggling on the covert missions first main tip is that you don't have to kill anyone in them the maps are designed in such a way that it is possible to go through them killing nobody or at most 1 or 2 of them. If you can go through areas without setting the enemies into alarmed mode you get 6 thousand stealth infiltration points at certain points and you get 20k points for not killing anyone on the map. Use the infiltrator or the sniper class as they move the fastest and are the stealthiest as well.

If you want the really big scores then you will have to work out a way to kill everyone in 1 long combo but that comes later and is not needed to 5 star any of the covert levels.

That "share intelligence" button only appears on the mission completion screen where it totals your score. If you forget to share it then, you've got to complete it again to do it.

This game is like crack, most fun ive had playing games in a while.Got a few hrs in last night, trying to put together the smoothest, biggest combination run, and beating your friends score is addictive as fuck.

@ dsmx i beat level 8 earlier, but im sure you'll up the anti as there's easily more points in it. Your really tearing up the daily challenges :)
Hardest score i beat so far was anthonys on level 11 i think, took me a lot of runs to squeeze out a few extra points

God I'm finding the second HVT mission very tough. I don't mind the re-spawning enemies but believe its because I'm moving forward to slowly that's the issue. Not played the game for a few days but I got straight back into it, superb fun

HV2 is the hardest mission by a long way, my suggestion on that one is go as the guy with the machine gun whose class name I always forget and stay in cover. Try and kill the enemy wave quickly and use the lull to push forward and repeat until you pass the invisible wall that stops them spawning, it still takes a bit of luck to get through but it is possible.

Oh no, it's brutal. In fact, it's maybe better to wait until you've built the characters up a bit and have bigger stash of grenades, for example.

When you come to the second area, peer round the wall and peg the guys up high. If you get both of them without them getting a shot off you can actually stealth your way round to the right without too much drama, going through the cattle sheds.

I think I eventually did it by pegging the top two guys, then waiting to headshot the two or three guys that'll run blindly round the corner in the distance. Then I just ran it and parked myself near the wall below where the high snipers were and got a grenade in to where they were coming from to take out the next wave.

Then you can pick your moment to work your way into the next bit around the corner and, if you're lucky, they'll all stay around the next left hander and the target guy will be amongst them. A couple of times I got to this bit and the target guy stayed inside the building and there was no way I could get to him from the constant respawning.

Assuming that's not the case you can choose your moment to lean out and take out the rocket launching guy who's up high. After that a couple more grenades chucked round the corner can take out the rest of them or you can just lean & shoot to thin them out.

It took me a lot of attempts and it's the only mission I've never been back to, so best of luck with it! :)

Great little game this but I have constant problems in terms of the game losing sound and locking up my vita does anyone know if the latest update fixed this problem?

Yes the updated vita firmware does fix most of the issues, since I updated the firmware a few weeks back now I've not had any lock ups from unit 13. That said it had only locked up twice before I updated the firmware and one of those was in the demo so I may not be the best person to ask about his lock up issue.

Considering getting this, is there a Single-player story or is it a lot like The Club?

There's an extensive single player campaign that forms the basis of how competitive we've all been with it on here! :D

Get it, Steve... it's brilliant. :)

The thing with unit 13 don't go into it expecting a deep and engrossing storyline, it's you and some rooms to clear once you learn the rooms then you need to work out the fastest way of clearing them for the most points. Since every time you pick a mission there's a list of your friends scores on the same mission there's competition to see who can be top of the board.

Just don't expect to beat any of my scores as I'm the best player here. Don't let that fact ruin your experience Steve.

Well it arrived yesterday and it's actually very good fun. Only done a few missions, but enjoying it. I can't quite figure out how to chain kills together enough that I keep the multiplier up as a lot of the enemies seem to be quite spaced out. But, I'm sure I'll figure it out as I play more of the game.

As your characters get better you get more time to chain events with. At first I couldn't see how people were getting such good scores with certain characters, but after levelling up the technician I started to get some good scores with him so long as I was methodical and kept up a reasonable rate of kills.

That's sort of the key to success in Unit 13 - aside from on deadline missions, take some time to plan out how you'll approach a given set of baddies in advance (except with HVT2, which is an anomaly and plays more like a CoD trigger point tsunami of enemies).

What I think is wicked with the level design is that you'll approach each area from lots of different directions over the course of the game, and sometimes the new perspective will give you an idea for how to tackle one of the other missions. :)

Absolutely loving this game at the mo, can't put it down! Working my way through the trophies and trying to 5 star them now, think I've done about 15 now so getting there.

Just tried hvt2 and was expecting tough after reading on here and it is. Even killed the guy but then died trying to get past him when the blokes kept coming out of the corner :-( I will do it however.

But really just wanted to say that this game is great and a definite must buy if you ask me

I stopped playing this about a month ago, as I picked up some PSP games following the digital price drops, I realised yesterday that this is a very difficult game to get back into - at least it is for me. I shall have to do some of the easy early missions again just to work out how to play it again.
