Book of Shadows is out next week in the US. I'm already hanging onto my headphones in anticipation of the EU release... -

Registered 2 years agoYes. Very different gameplay from the first. It's a continuation of one of the endings from the first game plus other bits. Trying not to be spoilerish here.

Registered 7 years agoWelcome back! Hopefully the festive period was good to you. Regardless, it's back to normal with a tiny bump as this week's update is really one that you don't want to write home about.
The only item of note is Imaginstruments, a free app for the Vita that allows you to play around with music and the like. It's not very good to be honest but let me know if you think otherwise. Otherwise, there's only a load of DLC this week, including some Marvel Heroes DLC for LBP Vita.
Next Week
Looks a little better. Some game called Retro City Rampage (only the most requested game since CS:GO) and a chance to join the Earth Defense Force in 2017. It won't be cheap (EDF! EDF! EDF! EDF Energy!)! Rumblings of Sumioni: Demon Arts too...
Oh, and don't forget, JSR for PSN+ as well!

Registered 9 years agoThere is actually a solid gold gem on the vita this week, called Life of Pixel. It's for PSMobile, it's about £1.50, and I really am in love with it so far.
It's like VVVVVV but better. The speccy and C64 levels are truely lovely.
Also picked up Haunt The House, which seems to be like a junior version of Ghost Trick. -

Registered 7 years agolet me concur that imaginstruments is truly terrible. I have got more musical creativity out of toy keyboards. No redeeming features whatsoever. The music toys in Wario Ware were infinitely better.FCUTA!

It also has CPC levels - those gorgeous fat technicolour pixels alone makes it worth £1.50 of my money

Registered 7 years agoLife Of Pixel looks great. I'd get it if I could, but I can't, so I won't.
I don't understand how it can be that the PlayStation Network is available in 63 countries, but PlayStation Mobile is only available in 9 of them (US, Canada, UK, France, Italy, Germany, Spain, Australia, Japan). -

Registered 7 years agoYou buy on PSN. I thought it was going to be a faff but it installs the PS Mobile software automatically once you buy a title. -

It's basic by its very nature, but the controls are modern (and excellent).
Having owned a C64 back in the day will certainly help you to love the game, but I'd say its fun regardless. -
