Registered 6 years agoMy flatmate has no concept of Sega beyond knowing who sonic is and yeah, she's having as much if a blast as this old fanboy is. A lot of the references will just seem odd but its genuinely a good game.

Who's everyone using then? So far my favourites are B.D.Joe, Vyse and Amy. Although I am dying to unlock Pudding! Obscure Space Channel 5 makes me happy
Shocked at the length of this as well - reminds me of Diddy Kong Racing that way.

Reminded me of when games were just pure joy and fun!
Can't wait to see if the full game can carry that feeling on.

This has had a real quiet release. Budget price to boot, was this a decision on Sega's part or is this something retail have taken upon themselves?

Registered 7 years agoGot all the characters from the world tour unlocked but at 168 stars. Need 180 for the last console mod and 200 to progress the map. Gradually doing the races on hard and everything else on expert but don't know if that'll be enough... -

As you got through the career mode paths, you get to unlock characters. Some of them are hidden behind 'gates' (in the career's overworld screen, not in the races lol) that require certain numbers of stars.

178 stars! Getting through the races on expert slowly. 2 more for the last console mod.
Handling is pretty similar, a little heavier maybe.
