Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed recently got released, and people have been complaining about the roster and how they think it's lackluster. One of the developers has put out a challenge; if fans can provide 3 characters with 1000 signatures each, they will be seriously considered for DLC. If you had a special SEGA character close to heart you really wanted, here's the chance.
It's being held at SEGA's forums, and you will need an account there if you want to join in. Here's a link:

Registered 7 years agoYou can never win with the roster in games like this, there are just too many well loved Sega characters to include them all. But that does mean it's the kind of game DLC makes perfect sense and I hope its successful enough to justify a decent amount. -

The amount of work that has gone into the tracks in the game must be huge.

Registered 5 years agoIt's impossible to please everyone with the roster in a game like this, but some of the choices are still a bit questionable. Including things like a Shogun from Total War and a Football Manager guy is a bit bizarre, while missing out Toejam & Earl, Ryo, anyone from Phantasy Star, Ristar, Chu Chu Rocket, etc.
I would have liked to see a few more classic characters and less of the "this is totally bizarre!" and guest characters.
Still, at least they didn't load the game full of Sonic characters and I imagine the reason the price point is so low, is because they plan on releasing a large amount of DLC. -

Not seen any yet. It's due out On 7th December so there might not be any around until closer to release, given how reviews for the PS3/Xbox versions came out.
