Arrows and Molotov|
Best place to do it is in the tunnel near the end of the game

|An oldy, but goody is to lob a bottle toward them and anyone else nearby, wait until they've ambled over, and then lob a bomb into the middle of them|
On week 9 of multiplayer now, second time through and on the path to Platinum glory!|
... if I don't fuck up the awful 100% challenges. I literally play twice as shit as normal when on them, it's quite a site to behold. This time I've saved the team healing challenge until the end though for an easy item in week 12.
Can't recommend a spec that includes the healing buff enough actually folks. You're nearly always near teammates online and people are always getting winged and needing a quick heal. You're literally swimming in points from doing it, Armour, Ammo, Gun upgrades, they come thick and fast with that perk equipped.
Re; the tunnel near the end of the game|
I think it's possible to clamber up onto some of the abandoned vehicles, take out weaker enemies with the bow and then toast the Bloater.

|I stealthed that entire part.|

In fact I was a gnat's ball-hair away from failing on the last day as I choose special executions, needed 6 minimum in 3 days and only had 2 going in to the last day due to unfair matchmaking. I passed it on the very last kill of the match.
I've never been so tense playing a game as in that match.
I'll never get my Orc looking the same again.
|Finished on Tuesday. Game of the generation for me. Wonderful story, incredible characters.|

I found I had to clear up every enemy in the game, something did nt feel right about skipping past enemies, felt like I might miss something and in many cases I would have so I like to stealth kill as many as possible and finish the stragglers off with any means necessary. Looking at my 5% trophy completion it seems I still managed to miss a lot!|
Molotoving a group of clickers or better still, planting a bomb and using a thrown bottle to bait them too it never gets old.

Ahem, sorry. I'll get my coat.
It's solid platinum .
|Sorry, PLease forgive my twATy INterjection, UM, won't mention it again.|
|This game is amazing. One of the best I've ever played, I'm now at the bit where you meet that guy called Bill? Just going through the cemetery now...|
|I love the story line to this game, it makes you want to find out what happens next If only there were more like it.|
Nobodies interested in this MONUMENTAL news.|
Bah, obviously, none of yous are true gamers. Probably stringing me along all this time, giving it all the game of the year stuff, blah, blah, best ever while simultaneously playing your Pippa Funnel My Little Horsey II.
I've got your numbers now...
|I'll be excited when some story DLC is announced.. I'd love to see more of how everything started with the infected etc.|
Completed it on Normal, had a break and now playing through on Hard. I'm about halfway through but thanks to the brilliance of Splinter Cell Blacklist I'm finding it hard to even come back to the TLOU. |
Truth be told I bought SCB to fill the gap until GTA V and it's exceeded my expectations.
Anyone play COOP on Blacklist and needs a partner let me know. PSN: TrekFX.
|Great-sounding DLC to be honest, but wanted to try it out before commenting! Still, can't argue with something like this! Nice move, Naughty Dog!|
Yeah, "hilarious" jokes aside. It's the story DLC I'm really interested in.|
I am still firing up the multiplayer a couple of times a week, despite not needing to do so for trophies. Still feels fresh compared to most of the stuff out there.
Interrogation mode is pretty good, but some teams are just crap at it.|
First team to 5 kills before the lockbox is revealed then it's a case of attack & defend.
Was too busy finishing my Survivor+ playthrough!
Tempted to try and Platinum this myself (nice one, BTW), have all the online and difficulty related trophies (did 3 playthroughs consisting of Normal, Survivor and Survivor+), but missed all the collectable, optional conversations, shiv doors and full upgrades, so looks like its a case of hitting it up on Easy and going through it with a fine comb.
Congrats man, that's pretty close. You can dip in and out for the collectibles if its quicker, I did. |
An easy play through (if you can stand it) with the ign guide might just be more straightforward though frankly, often had to play most of the way through a level in order to get to the item anyway...
|Just completed. Got to be the best single player experience I've ever had. Amazing....|
