So, farewell, you strange man. You did a lot of good work for charity, and you allegedly invented the disco.
That HIGNFY outtakes thing is a fake btw, if anyone links to it. Funny as fuck though. Good old SOTCAA.
LetsGo will be gutted.

Jim'll Fix It and Doctor WHo defined my childhood Saturday evening entertainment. He was a strange one, but it takes all sorts to make a world. -

He also invented rap culture, evident from all the rappers who bite his style of tracksuits and fat gold chains.

Registered 7 years agoFuck. There goes another impression I could have a half decent stab at.
RIP Jim. It's a shame Louis Theroux stiched you up like a kipper.FCUTA!

Registered 9 years agoI must admit Louis Theroux lost some cred in my opinion after picking on Jimmy. Seemed like kicking someone when they were obviously in need of help. I think he meant well but messed it up. -

Registered 10 years agoIf, and I say IF, that Louis Theroux doc was to be believed, the guy only had one pair of undercrackers that he washed out every night. Legend!
It was funny on Celeb Big Brother when he went in as a brief guest. In the main room with all the micro celebs he did all his usual schtick, now then now then! When he left the room, the *moment* he got through the door his face turned to a scowl, his cigar arm went down by his side, and he shuffled out like a miserable old goat. Clearly didn't have a clue the camera's had followed him lol! -

Registered 6 years agoRaised £40 million for charity and ran over 200 marathons over the years, bless him.
I'll always remember Jim'll Fix It from when I was a lad.
RIP Jimmy

Registered 3 years agoHe was funny old git, not sure if I can say I ever "liked" him as he sort of creeped me out but he was certainly a character that's for sure.
RIP. -

Registered 8 years agoI don't think I ever wrote to Jim to fix anything, but there's one particular Fix it I remember- A kid wanted to punch his way out of a paper bag. To think, that without Jim that child would not have ever experienced the joy of punching his way out of a man-sized paper bag, fills me with awe and admiration for the man.
RIP Jimmy. Dream Maker! I will remember you always.

Registered 3 years agoCouple of good stories on Viz's LitterBox feed:
I was in Roundhay Park & I said to my mate 'look it's Jimmy Saville'. He jogged past smoking a cigar & said 'no it's Al Capone'!
Saw him in Leeds. tracksuit, jewellery etc and shades. I said "alright jimmy". He lowered shades: "how did u know it was me?"
I'm too young to remember Jim'll Fix It, but he sounds like quite the character. -

I think they're both the real thing, I've definitely seen at least one of them answer questions about subscriptions.
