[Edit] page is fine now, hopefully you can work out what is going on from the crash report.
Thanks for the data, I'll try and figure out what's going on. So far it seems to be DF articles so since I've introduced tables maybe it's that.

Hmm, I've got to release the fixes I've made to https links yet but this seems odd...

Can you give an example, your link about is just to eurogamer.

    google.co.uk
    BBC news

    link I made on website
link I made in the app with http at the start

The above work for me, what happens to your phone?

@freakybun try accessing your BBC link above from a full browser, not the app....

Edit: sorry, should've said, it seems fine from the app, it's other users that can't access the links from a lappie or PC etc

Phew, its the website, I'll let them know.

If you forget to put http:// on links then this happens.

If you just put links inline, ie. with no link tag, the browser handles the link, which works fine.

I'll let eg know. Good spot!

If it's just that, it's probably user error, but as I was copying and pasting, didn't think I'd left it off. Will double check when I get into work...

Looks like it was my mistake not to include the http://. Sure it's a known issue otherwise. Will make sure I C&P properly next time!

Edit: What would be good is if you could edit the link you post from the app - at the moment you can't, so I couldn't see what was wrong....

If you click on the source button in the bottom left of the editor, you'll see all the forum markup like the web site. That should help...

I have pushed out the fixes to https links at last and I hope I've fixed the problem of getting logged out at random points in time.

The app will refresh your login in every 20 minutes.

The smiley problem discussed on the previous page has been fixed.

You can also disable volume button scrolling if you like to listen to music or don't care for the feature.

Some of you may also notice a new share button on articles too :)

At the bottom of the article next to the "post comment" button.

Another great update Freaky, as others have said: where's the donate button?

I was hoping to put the option at the top of the page but space is limited with the headline and stuff.

Made sense to put it at the bottom. If you need quick access dont forget you can click on the blue header to scroll directly to the bottom..

Maybe it's just me being an idiot but is the option to +/- a post included on this app? If not then would it be possible to add? Obviously there is no rush if there are more important things too do of course.

Follow me on Twitter @MikeRockavitch ... from a distance of course ... No fat chicks ...

Any chance you could add pinch-zoom for screenshots? I download the hires ones but there's no way to zoom in

    Thanks!

How do I change the video from SD to HD or vice versa? I'm probably missing something really obvious.

In settings untick disable HD video.

Edit - come to think of it I think that's the only way to enable HD or SD.

Edit - actually you can long press the video image to get menu.

Oh yeah while I'm in a posting mood, any chance that you provide link to larger screenshots. The thumbnail view of the current images are just a bit too small to make out any detail.

I've tried the setting to enable larger images but makes no difference on my Google nexus ICS.

    As always great app freaky.

Would be nice if the auto rotate to landscape worked as well for the screenshots eg: The Mark of Ninja article.

Note: Rotate to landscape only works on Review articles, doesn't work on screenshot only articles.

If I uncheck portrait lock in settings, screenshots rotate for me. With it unchecked the app reverts back tonthe standard android behaviour.

It should work for all pages.

Are you all seeing this on screenshots?

Ah, even with the in app portrait lock on the screenshots still rotate in review articles. I think this is what threw me!

I wish I could tell you I did this on purpose! I forgot to extend the lock to screenshots.

Thinking about it, I guess it makes sense to always allow it to rotate.

Frustratingly, not all screenshots have hi Res available. I'll investigate and maybe I should indicate if they are.

Suicida asked about pinch zoom. I'll look into it, that sounds like it would be the best all round solution.
