They need to send me a fucking calculator looking chip and pin thing before I can set up a new payee online/over the phone. It is a fucking joke - I need to pay my rent! Told me to just go in which is fucking useful when all their branches shut at 4:45.

Jesus, get with the times pops. Had one of those calculator looking chip and pin things for years with NatWest.

Give yourself 5 or gig, you're worth it.

Was with Llyods before and they didn't have any of this shit. If I want to set up a new payee they just call me with an automated pass code to enter to confirm.

I have the shitty calculator thing. I could lend you one if you need.

The world is going mad. Me? I'm doing fine.

  • Deleted user 17 December 2012 22:36:20
They are sending me one apparently. Thanks though. Just going to see if I can pay them direct or run over on my break. Appreciate the security precautions but it has been like twisting a nut ever since I joined RBS.

Angel Heart just started on Film 4. Do you want me to let you know when Lisa Bonet sheds her Cosby?

A strange game. The only winning move is not to play.

    :D

Today I come one step closer to the hallowed dishwasher dream, as there is a man ripping out the lobby in my back bathroom. Not a euphemism. Soon there will be space & power for a washing machine, leaving space for a dishwasher in the kitchen, and we will be FREE OF THE WASHING UP!

A strange game. The only winning move is not to play.

Can you borrow one from someone? The Nationwide, Barclays etc ones are all the same device so they're cross-compatible.

    I'm a grumpy bastard.

In your dreams. Half of the shit I own seems to either not fit in the dishwasher or isn't dishwasher safe. =/

Don't kill my precious dream, man. I'm going to buy a huge one and break anything that isn't dishwasher safe.

Half the time you have to rinse off stuff like gravy so well you'd be as well wash them anyway!

That stuff can dry on while you wait to get a full load to do and then isn't washed off fully leaving manky plates and cutlery. Kids cereals, or porridge being a case in point- dried rice krispies apparently stick like rice-y barnacles once dry.

Two flipping edits for 'anyway' today. A new fat-fingered typing low.

    Brilliant!

I chainsawed a lot of wood today. So much that the sensation in my hands was shot to pieces and all it would register was vibration. Interesting.

I lurk. If I've spoken to you, I'm either impassioned, or drunk.

Did you not do a risk assesment.
I have to find these values out for everything we hire out nowadays.

What will happen next will be rather than the pain of washing up, it will be a pain to unload it all and put it away.
