    Yeah, both my inlaws use them and haven't smiked actual cigarettes for several months now. One of our drivers at work used one for ages too.
    Good luck, I quit smoking in 2000 and it is one of the best things I ever did. Still get the odd craving for a stress relief fag but after all this time I just say fuck it and have a cry wank instead.

    I didn't know about the thread - sorry!

    I just tried one a couple days ago and I was pretty happy with the results. It's so much cheaper too. I could go through one of those cartridges while game playing and not feel nearly as terrible about myself.

    My dad fucking loves his - I was tempted to give it ago when I stopped back in January but decided to just cold turkey it. Mainly because I didn't just want to get addicted to something else and because I'm not a massive vagina.

    Well, I am a massive vagina. Thing is, I don't really want to stop smoking - I just don't want it to kill me! I want to have my cake and eat it too and the e-cig seems the closest thing to letting me have that. Yes, I know they're not entirely good for you either.

    I probably wouldn't use it in a restaurant, though! I'd feel weird.

    Yeah I didn't want to stop either, but then I did anyway. Once you get past the addiction you realise you did actually want to stop, but your brain was fucking with you, telling you that you didn't in an attempt to keep up the supply of that sweet sweet nicotine.

    I didn't actually want to stop as such, but knew I should, so I did. Champix worked really well for me.

    They look pretty fucking weird when people use them in bars and stuff. I can't help but stare, in the same way lexx looks at black people I imagine.

    It's only while playing games for me. If I never played, I'd probably smoke only a few cigs per day.

    I wouldn't know what to do with myself if I didn't have something to suck on while I was gaming. :p

    There is no point in smoking unless you actually want one or more of several different cancers.

    Interestingly my mum who has smoked 60 a day for 30 years recently got sent for a lung scan which came back "surprisingly healthy".

    I suspect the definition of "surprisingly healthy" for someone who has smoked over 650,000 fags is along the lines of "still work at all".
