    Go to a local recruitment office this afternoon, based on what little I know about you I would suggest the Army might be a good fit but talk to the guys there and they'll be very helpful. The military can be great and there aren't many that come out with bad stories about their time - drinking, adventure, being looked after.

    You really would love it.

    You know the military will contribute to any education you want, sometimes paying for degrees? They're very keen on encouraging your development.

    The military sounds alright, apart from the war bit. I think I'd go on the submarines (not those new rusty ones though).

    Not every soldier in the army goes on the front lines. I know loads who haven't even been on tour.

    Unless you go for infantry you'll rarely, if ever be in serious danger. It might get a little hairy but just think of the adrenaline rush and the stories you'll be able to tell over a few pints.

    Had a few friends that went in from school - the ones still in love it and the ones that came out were held in high regard when they went for other stuff.
