He is right, though. I'm surprised you made it off the Island of Dawn while still in area chat, to be honest. Keep playing to the area you enter around level 22 - the combat really starts to come alive as you start to take actual consequential damage for being hit by enemies.

Like I said I found it acceptable on the starter island, but I think having to turn off general chat in a new MMO says it all. I guess that's just the type of people we are dealing with these days, which is a shame. The way the game phases into different areas on the flying transport was quite a nifty touch I thought though. But yeah I should have resisted and just waited for GW2 like Rodpad said <3
Aw man, I really want to try this! But I look at my unopened SWTOR time card and place my credit card back in its wallet
Hope this does well cause it looks like fun though. Maybe I'll join the thriving EG community down the line, but it would be great to bet on a winner from the start.
OK. I bought this. Wife's out of the country for 10 days. Anyone here playing?

I won a copy of Tera at rezzed, so quick question what server and does it matter?
Class wise iam not sure, i like to play ranged classes and ideally hybrids with some form of healing ablity. But looking at classes you dont really get hybrids in the same was as say Rift.

Which server you choose doesn't matter too much as they will all be one come Christmas anyway
What i've played of this (about 30 minutes to be fair ) I've really liked. So I'll get on again, especially if a EG community surfaces.
Yeah, I enjoyed it for a few weeks - battling is really fun but the quests are rubbish and having to deal with some pretty low-quality randoms wasn't for me. If you can convince some friends to play then you'll enjoy it, though.
