Registered 5 years agoLol at this thread. It's nothing like this on avforums where I'm a mod. Trolls get banned instantly, swear filters on. Great for grown ups who just want to chat about anything av.
This forum Is worse than gamefaqs and that's saying something.

If you have the console, have put some decent time into at least a couple of the games, then go ahead and flame it or love it and tell the world while you're at it.
If you havn't got it nor have you any interest in the console then why post?
It suprises me that Eurogamer have no interest in maintaining positive discussion in the forum, it has a negative effect on the users who come here to discuss their new console or have discussions with users who want to discuss it that have not bought one yet.
I have seen it in a few threads lately, with the exception of the Game shopping category, the Dads club and the charity thread which are all awesome.
How some of you who have met these absolute tools IRL have not give them a smack is beyond me, bloody keyboard warriors hiding behind their screens.
And yes, I am aware of the irony of that last paragraph whilst sat behind my screen, typing on my keyboard.Goat is hungry.....

I would love to have a Wii u. It looks fantastic but for the price point and current lack of games it has no chance for me.

Registered 5 years agoBut...the online side is excellent, Miiverse (shit name) is really well done and actually fun. The other online parts they have implemented are also well done too, plus its free.
The pad is it's USP and it's a great addition. What's gimmicky about a pad with a touch screen? Touch screen phones, iPads etc are all the rage are not looked upon as been gimmicky.
