I've been waiting for something to spend my points on for months now.

    Things I've been hoping for:
    Mario Galaxy 2 Soundtrack
    Zelda Skyward Sword Soundtrack
    Gold Nunchuk

They're the main ones, but I love other little bits like Hanafuda Cards (I've got two sets), The little statuettes and other little curios. I've also got the Layton Case, OoT 3DS soundtrack, Xenoblade soundtrack download and some other bits by registering at the right time.

The latest thing is the the coins, I'm looking forward to the RPG coins but I don't really know why; they'll be entertaining for about 15 seconds. Wonder whether they'll eventually have any value.

What Club Nintendo stuff do people have and recommend on here? I do admittedly keep thinking about splurging on the SNES controller and playing LTTP through!

I honestly don't understand why they're so slow with updating it. As has been said before, JP and the US get some awesome stuff, and even Australia now has the gold nunchuk!

The only physical object i've recieved from the Club catalogue is the Ocarina of Time CD, which was a freebie anyway. Almost all of my stars get swapped for Wii Points. Wouldn't mind the SNES pad though!

There are some terrific tunes in Mario Galaxy 2, that would be a very cool soundtrack.

I gave up on wii points after coming to the conclusion that Nintendo will never allow (certainly this gen) purchase of downloadable content to be transferred between systems.

I have picked up some actually physical goodies from the store. The DS sock's quite nice, although mine's looking a bit ram my now, and the Hanfuda cards. The cards are lovely, really well made. The rules aren't so easy if you've never played the game before, mind.

I was annoyed Club Nintendo Japan members got one of these. So I bought one off ebay.

I think you can get Game & Watch Ball on UK Club Nintendo?

I've got 7100 stars at the moment so need to register (buy) a couple more.

Yep, that's on our catalogue mrpon. 7500, so vyseofhr is just a couple of games short! Afraid I cabn't help either, I just checked and I've got no spare codes left. Sorry!

I'm 3 games off the SNES Controller. Soon, it will be mine. Very soon.

35 including postage from Japan. Fairly reasonable I thought.

Given that, were you to buy enough games even at a fiver each you'd be paying 150, that's not bad at all!

It was a re-release of the original that came out in 1980 and yes the gameplay is a very simple left and right affair. I used to collect them (there are around 60 I think) but tailed off a few years ago. Think I have around 30 or so. There is something (to me) very appealing about them, the simplicity, the colours, the tactileness etc..

You don't have to explain yourself - I think these things are awesome! Never was a collector of those in particular, though.

I just wasn't sure if it was disguised as vintage, but was really modern.

Yeah I think they're awesome too.

To be honest it is tempting just to go and try and find two massively cheap 3DS games just to finally get enough stars for the the Game and Watch; trouble is there isn't an awful lot around at the moment that I want. I've got the 'big 5' (Zelda, Mario, MK7, Tales, Kid Icarus) on 3DS, and the Wii after the RPGs has now dried up.

I should probably just take to eBay to get the last couple of codes?

The only duplicate code I've got (I think) is Twilight Princess, although I might have an NSMBWii one too... always happy to swap with anyone, of course.

I was just clearing out my cupboards and found my sisters DSi box. Inside, the 500 stars I needed for the SNES Controller \o/ Just after I bought 2 more games to make up that amount. Good games though, so no loss :)

Free stuff is awesome, but I still think them expiring is a bit mean. You still have to buy and register 28 games within a year to get something like the controller or that Mario statue thing.

Has anyone received the email yet about the golden coin collection? I registered Pandora's Tower and received an email telling me I was eligible to receive them and to watch my inbox, but haven't heard anything as yet. Just want to make sure I haven't missed anything!

Yeah, I received the 'Congratulations!' type email last week, but nothing since. I can't seriously imagine that there will be too many of those coin collections flying around to be honest, I'm the only person I know who owns either of Last Story or Pandora's Tower, let alone both (do know a couple people with Xenoblade though).

So to answer your question, you haven't missed anything yet.

Re coins. Had an email notifying me of a future email to be sent in early June today. To 'smooth' the process apparently. Add the 8 weeks for Club Nintendo to post them and you'll be seeing your coins mid-August I expect. Just in time to celebrate Xenoblade's birthday.

    Club Nintendo are hopeless.

Weird bump/first post to make, but I can assure you stars do expire, even if you keep them and put them in later. Takes ages though - I've only had one expire and that was because it was old stock (Trauma Centre, so roughly 2006). They also do expire once you've added them to your account.

The waiting time on getting your stuff is ridiculous. I know they're posting from Germany, but 8 weeks? From experience, it is generally close to the 8 week mark too. Still, got my Kid Icarus cards the other day so at least they do send the stuff :)

Yeah, I'm currently waiting on the coins, which as said above, they're planning to start shipping at the beginning of June, and the replica Game and Watch. They certainly aren't quick.
