    Sherlock - Season 1.

I thought it was good without being terribly good, maybe a little over-rated? Perhaps it picks up more in S2.

    7/10

I loved Rome, was excellent imo.

Community S2 - difficult to score as I watched it in bits over quite a long period of time, but I love it and enjoyed all episodes. Some more than others, but it's just so damn clever.

Always Sunny S1 - Same actually, really enjoyable, if a bit cringeworthy at times.

British comedy is just left miles behind.

It's quite different, nowhere near as clever - more of a straight up comedy of errors with some pretty classic cringey stuff going on. But it's funny as fuck.

    Just finished Community, series 1.
Absolutely loved it! Most of the episodes were great, a few were excellent, and a couple (I'm thinking of 'naked pool' and the paintball ep in particular, were awesome.

/goes off to order the rest of the serieses

    Supernatural - Season 8

Formulaic fun, probably one of the weaker seasons, but it ends with some potential for the next season.

    6/10

How I Met Your Mother, Season 7

I know there are plenty of people here who don't like it, but there's something about it that makes me laugh. Better than season 6 too.

    Dexter Season 8- 4/10
Barely watchable, with some of the most horrendous writing I've ever seen unfold on a big prime time US show. Thank God it's all over.

    Under the Dome - 5/10
Stupid as fuck. (The Priest making a fire, and then getting surprised by how fire works, could be one of the greatest scenes in TV history) Filled with terrible acting, and characters I couldn't care less about.
But yet I couldn't stop watching it...

    Touch (series 1) 0/10

Utterly dreadful, mawkish shite, with terrible writing and acting. Reeked of that hateful c*nt M. Night Shyamalan.

Breaking Bad season 5 - 8/10. it's an excellent capstone to the series as a whole, but taken by itself I'm not sure the season holds up as well.

Falling Skies S3 - 5/10 - Watchable but how this has made it to 3 series and seems to be commissioned for a 4th is a real puzzle. It's so totally average. Nothing stands out about it at all. It's a puzzle they have made so little of what should be a good premise.

    Bates Motel - 8/10
    Surprisingly good!
Vera Farmiga and Freddie Highmore are top notch in their roles as Norma and Norman, and I couldn't really fault the supporting cast either (There's a lot of "Ohh what have I seen him in before?" throughout the season)
The story is compelling and I can't say I was ever bored with any episode.
    Deffo worth a watch.

    Breaking bad - season 5.

    10/10

TV at its finest. Easily the best programme I've ever seen. The last season was a fitting finale.

    Justified - Season 1.

    9/10

Unsure how I missed this gem. Fantastic acting and dialogue. Timothy Olyphant is brilliant and I've plenty more seasons to watch

See Lost: 3 strangers sneak on to a boat, with guns. 1 is shot by the person on the boat, and is killed.

One of the survivors act like this was the most unexpected outcomes of all time.

    Archer Series 1
At the beginning - well this is a bit of cliché, why all the hype? All of these characters are so predictable.

By the end of the series - OMG this is great, how did I ever doubt that this was a great show? Some of the jokes don't hit their target, but the delivery is fantastic and the occasional totally ridiculous moments are pitched just right. 7/10

    Archer Series 2
Everything that was great about series 1 continues and the running gags are really building up steam. Love it. 8/10

Justified is criminally overlooked - then again, when I first saw the adverts on TV with Raylan in his cowboy hat it didn't exactly scream 'quality' - I was glad to be proved wrong.

Mags Bennett in Season 2 was spectacular (as was most of the second season). Walton Goggins is great too throughout, arguably better than he ever was in The Shield.

    @faux_carnation

I liked the casual madness of the whole thing, but felt it running out of steam towards the end (season 1). I think Season 2 might be worth a watch.

    +1 for the Justified love.

Season 2 and the latter half of 4 are my favorites. There are a few episodes at the end of S04 that hold up to pretty much anything on TV. Really looking forward to when S05 will start.

I'm not saying S03 is weak in any way.

    Breaking Bad - Season 5
    10/10

Now my all time favorite TV show, topping Sopranos and Twin Peaks. Just such great, edge-of-your-seat entertainment. More like the best 50 hour thriller movie ever made.

    Broadchurch 7/10

A few clunky moments, but it built up the tension well, final episode a bit of an anticlimax TBH not helped by guilty party putting in a terrible performance and the writers bottling it as to what he actually did.

    Pretty decent...for ITV

    Ray Donovan - 7/10

I really enjoyed the first couple of episodes while it focused on him doing his day job, but once it took a turn into brooding about noncey priests it was just one miserable episode after another. It was a well told story but after the way it was advertised and setup early on it felt like a bait and switch.
