Anybody see it? The premier was on last night as part of Fox's Sunday night Animation Domination - the slot where they show The Simpsons, Family Guy, American Dad and The Cleveland Show.

It was pitched, I guess, somewhere between The Simpsons and Family Guy in terms of the audience - not as twee as The Simpsons but not as ''mature'' as the latter.

I did find a few moments of laugh-out-loud comedy in it and the humour is kind of King of the Hill-esque in that it's about characters in everyday situations rather than fantasy adventure/wacky scheme of the week. It's also voiced by the guy from Archer, so that's a plus (even if Bob sounds exactly the same as Sterling Archer.)

    It's worth a shot.

Was I the only person who watched it? I know it just aired in the US but I thought somebody else would have seen it...

I love that guy's voice he also did "coach" in home movies, which was fucking glols galore!

I was watching it thinking, ''where do I know that voice from?'' and it was only when I looked it up I found who it was.

Oh and Archer Season 2 is coming soon.

Hmmm... was unsure about this at first, but the episode got better mid way. Still I didn't find very funny, I'll keep watching it though. Hell, I still watch *spit* Family Guy.

Actually I think Archer started back either the 9th or maybe tonight!?

    hold on....

    awww 27th Jan.

oh well I also agree with the disparaging of Family Guy, though i still watch it myself.

Yeah, it started-off a bit lightweight but then it did pick-up. That said, the first Family Guy was crap. OK so it is again now, but still...

Second episode was on last night and was a big improvement - I think out of last night's animated shows, I'd rate it second only to The Cleveland Show, with American Dad, Family Guy then The Simpsons (which just wasn't even funny.)

Even uglier than Family Guy. All those Fox faux-Simpsons shows are garbage.

I like it. I think the problem is stuff like The Simpsons and Family Guy have pushed the comedy-reality to the point where ''everyday'' comedy in a cartoon seems wrong, but I think it's a nice change from the wacky career of the week stuff. I loved the bits with the Kuchi night-light.

that's very true. :) Bob sounds bored often though, that really doesn't help. The kids are great.
(just noticed you posted that over a month ago, lol - so, I'm referring to eps 1-2)

Louise = pink bunny ears delightful regularly outspoken hat wearer? I have yet to put names to characters properly, beyond Bob.

After seeing it recommended on here, I've been watching it on E4 since it started and have been really enjoying it.

The first episode was good, but it has really improved in the following episodes.

    Louise is great

Lousie: "Did you know it only takes 2 pounds of pressure to drive someone's nose bone into their brain?"
    Bob: "That's... What?"
Louise: "2 pounds! That's it dad!"
Bob: "Why are you telling me this Louise?"
    Louise: "...Revenge!"

    YEY!!

I love Louise, Gene and Bob :)

I also blame Razz for getting me into this show. Would never have heard of it if he wasn't watching an episode one morning in his flat.

This did end up getting a fair bit better towards the end of the season.

    It's still a bit... I don't know. Odd.

I saw a few episodes of this when it was on Sky, i quite liked it too. Louis and the Son were awesome, i thought the episode with PETA and saving the cow was the best of the ones i saw.

It's a very good start to the new season. Louise was on top form and the Goonies reference at the end was a nice touch.
