I don't know about everyone else but whenever I have a problem the first place I go to searching for advice is this forum. And more often than not someone will stumble across my thread and offer useful advice.

Which got me thinking, there's so many people on here, most expertise's must be accounted for in some way or another.

So if you're a plumber, electrician, drug dealer, vet, nuclear scientist, whatever, with your permission I'll add your name to this index and when someone comes to the forum with a question they'll know exactly who to ask.

And if you can't find the right person in the index to answer your question then you can still ask it in this thread and you'll have a greater chance of getting useful answers.

I know a bit about stuff but I am no expert in anything except skinning up and failure, which I have a joint PhD in.

A strange game. The only winning move is not to play.

deferred tax is tax that, although it arises in the present, through some mechanism or other only becomes payable at some point in the future, either after a certain amount of time passed or upon a certain event.

Tax deferred is as good as tax saved in many ways.

And how to create 'What's your favourite.....EVER?' threads. If I ever wanted to create one of those, you would be my first port of call.

My areas of relative expertise are u/w photography, IT training and being EG's Mr Nice.

Not as nice as I used to be

My dissertation topic. The only subject in my life I haven't got distracted from and wandered off to something new.

Shame it is of absolutely no use to anyone ever!

I suppose I do have the experience...Tip #1, don't do it unless you can take a LOT of shit from people! If you want more tips though, you will have to buy my book...'The "Greatest Ever" polls...There and Back Again'
A great Christmas present me thinks ;)

If you ever need recommendations on post-apocalyptic fiction I'm the go to guy.
That and places to see in China.

If you can read this you really need to fiddle with your forum settings.

    1) Can you play the Rosanna shuffle?
    2) Matched or trad?
    3) Singing drummers. Discuss.

    1) Yes, albeit not quite as well as Porcaro.
    2) Either, but usually matched. It's more practical for most of what I play, even if it doesn't look as stylish.
    3) Not something I've ever been comfortable with. I can do it, but not with any playing that demands lots of concentration. I think if I tried to sing Rosanna whilst playing my head would explode. Fair play to anyone that can, though.
