    Some days I could swear I had never picked up a controller before whereas other days I am relatively on form.

    I play better when my mind is clear but unfortunately that is not very often. If I can't concentrate then it all goes to pot.

    Reading the Geo Wars comments in this thread. Practice, for me, does not make perfect. The more I try (like in Trials) the poorer I get.

    Agreed on that, especially Trials HD. I appreciate how good a game it is, but it can increase your stress levels to a ridiculous level, which just makes it even harder to play.
