Arsenal have been like this on and off for a few seasons. He always brings them back. I think he has to actually buy decent players to put an end to the problems. Cut down on buying a billion youngsters on a high wage and be more focused with spending on some mature players. There is good buys out there that don't cost an arm and a leg.
    Like Michu.

This is good for my FF. Especially if Newcastle keep a clean sheet.

Smash and grab with a bit of luck in between so far, Newcastle have been poor but somehow 2-0 up

Caldwell must be cold or something. Seems determined to get sent off back in the warm.

I don't think I've ever seen a MOTD where he didn't sell the jerseys at some point in the game. Reliably unreliable.

We were absolutely shit this evening against 10 men; the sending off was wrong, how could it have been a goal scoring opportunity when Cissť was on the end of it? It was so cold tonight my joints are still aching; the lack of creativity from Newcastle is very worrying.

You sure you were at SJP and not your kid's inter-school game?

We were decent iyam, how you've come to the conclusion that we were absolutely shit is beyond me. Created far more than usual too (for once, and we're still missing our two best flair/creative players in Ben Arfa and Cabaye). It helped that we were against 10 men but I'm not going to care about that now, a win is a win. Thought the ref was awful for both sides too.

Maybe the Sky cameras were playing tricks on me?

    ;)

real worry is whether you trust the board to find the right replacement, given all the football men have moved on. Personally, I think AW will recommend his successor too.
Well you know my views on that (NO.).

oh and just to clarify, I wasn't saying AVB over Wenger (lol), but more of when Wenger goes, for him to be his replacement.

This was Porto AVB I wanted, pre-Chelsea tarnishing.

:D let's hope referees don't start seeing things that way.

Nani doesn't feature in Man Utd's 2013 calendar so obviously, HE'S A GONER.

Seriously, is this where we're getting our transfer news now?

In all seriousness, it's usually a pretty good indicator. Arsenal's calendars have been very telling over the years.

They haven't really. Both Nasri and Rvp were in last year's and I think Cesc was as well. This year's shoot was apparently done whilst a lot were away after the Euros, hence why Theo was missing. As was Kos. They're both in the desktop calendar which was done later.

Edit: Not to say theo won't leave of course

    From F365's Mediawatch:

    Oh god, this sh*t again?

Once more, The Daily Mirror claims an EXCLUSIVE! with their story that a player is on his way out of a football club because he's missing from their official calendar.

Once again, this calendar has been available to purchase from little-known boutique internet store Amazon since October 15, so quite how EXCLUSIVE! the story is, we're not entirely sure.

Anyway, you probably know the form by now, but The Daily Mirror reports: 'Manchester United winger Nani has been left off the club's official 2013 calendar - fuelling rumours he'll be heading out the Old Trafford exit door in the New Year.'

At the risk of repeating ourselves, other players missing from the calendar include David de Gea, Anders Lindegaard, Rafael, Patrice Evra, Rio Ferdinand, Phil Jones, Jonny Evans, Chris Smalling, Anderson and Darren Fletcher. Presumably they're all off too, right?

It's perfectly possible that Nani will leave United in the summer, but his presence or otherwise on a f*cking calendar does not indicate this one way or the other.

Still, people will click on it, so we guess that makes it a story...

Adebayor was left out of marketing comms ahead of it being widely known he would leave. I remember it well because I was ITK on it.

They probably leave out certain players knowing that the papers will go apeshit and do the marketing for the calendars for them.

Can't believe we are discussing the divining potential of a fucking calendar
