He's working for peanuts as he owes Ashley large gambling debts, I heard.

    But yeah - wanker.

Alan Pardew on the game tomorrow:

He said: "They have been brilliant. They have been the team of the season, probably, regardless of whether they win it or not.

"It's a tough game for us because at home, they have been awesome. They have got real pace in the team and in the modern game, that kills you.

"You look at Bayern Munich - it's real pace everywhere. Real Madrid - the top teams, you have got to have that pace.

"It's something that as a manager, you long for and hopefully, we can improve a little bit on in our team."
Newcastle will be putting up a hell of a fight tomorrow then. Why doesn't he just marry Liverpool.
Because while it's now possible for a man to marry another man if that's his cup of tea, it's still not possible for a man to marry a city or a football club.
I suppose it would be possible for him to marry the team and the most visible members of the hierarchy, if he were to do it one at a time and get divorced in between, but that would be complex and very time consuming and would also rely on a frankly improbable level of cooperation from the current Liverpool squad and management.

Hmmm not even worth streaming two games at once on the final day of the season.

    Sucks.

Might just watch arsenal if I can fine a stream I guess.

3 matches on Sky. Obviously the City and Liverpool matches, with Spurs Vs. Villa on 3. Sucks balls. Should definitely be United Southampton, without doubt.

Hoping Wenger gives our kids a run out. Maybe a Sanogo goal today, finally.

@greg_wha No next weekend. Though if Atletico win and Barca don't then it'll be Atletico's today, so the last match will count for nothing.

Seems to make more sense than spending millions, always ending up a disappointment but sticking with the same manager anyway like Arsenal do.

To be fair to Spurs, St Totteringham's Day was later than usual this year, if I'm not mistaken.

I've made the point a few times, but Spurs are the sixth richest club in the league.

I think it's a testament to the job Levy has been doing that coming sixth is in fact seen as a bad season. Seems over-achievement has become an expectation for us.

Not that I've particularly loved this season, but I don't think it's a huge step backwards for us. More of a stalling. I think Chelsea, Arsenal and United have all had more disappointing seasons by the standards you would expect them to hold themselves to.

The BBC love-in over City this morning is making me sick. Pougatch in particular is cunting it up like a... um... cunt.

If, big if, Arsenal win the FA Cup, you'd be hard pressed to call this a disappointing season for them. Agree with the other two obviously.

Wouldn't say Arsenal's season has been a disappointment a cup final and the biggest points total for 5 years.

There was as much a genuine possibility for Arsenal to win the league as there was Liverpool. Their form from the first half of the season is a distant memory now, but they looked certain to go all the way this year.

FA Cup is some consolation, but it think they're kidding themselves if they think that's a worthy representation of what they should have won this year, especially as it's a cup that is generally won by the likes of Wigan, or City/Chelsea reserve sides these days.

I'd be pretty disappointed to have bottled winning the league in the way you did. All those points are from the first half of the season. In the second half of the season you're sixth (below Spurs in fact). That's a very dismal half a season.

Look at the injuries to key players at that point in the season no team could keep up a title challenge with that amount of players injured. No excuses they wasn't good enough overall to win the title this year. Not signing a top class striker in Jan also cost them.

Winning some silverware is very important for Arsenal though to get the monkey off their backs. I must say that Wenger winning a trophy while Mourinho comes up bare this season would be sublime poetic justice.
