Fucking this. Jesus. I don't know how anyone can stomach a bunch of ADHD pricks shouting over each other for 2 hours and come out of it without diabetes. It's shite.

The Suarez thing is apparently just a bit of twitter japery that's got some traction.

It would be a nonsensical transfer for all involved that one. Just isn't true on any level.

So Nile Ranger has got a tattoo that says 'Ranger'. On his eyebrow.

Same font as Prof Green's 'Lucky'. Stay classy Nile.

LB, you really are a massive geek.

I like soccer saturday, they talk bollocks and are so wide of the mark its unbelievable (geoff), but when it comes down to the actual match stuff, its great fun.

Merson is part of the fun though. The point about SSS being as insightful as talking football with your mates down the pub. Thats what I like about the show
I'd agree with this. It's easy watching and a bit of fun.

Fulham tried to buy Darren Bent and are contemplating making an increased offer after 4m was turned down? Why? I wouldn't have thought he would fit into their team.

Barton is basically Scott Parker with mental health issues.

He's about as down to earth as footballers get.
  • Deleted user 31 July 2013 11:27:22
I like his style. Better than the chavtastic nonsense most of these cunts go for. Parker and Baines both rock it old school.

Yeah, the game needs more parkers and less vermin like nile ranger.

Which, I suppose, is difficult when you give 17 year olds an infinite money cheat. I dread to think how much of a wanker I would have turned out to be had I been earning 10k+ a week at college age.

Sorry but Barton is not a good footballer with a bad attitude, he's just a bad football player. In his year with us he had maybe three or four good games. His inability to pass a ball to a player five yards away is quite special. His inability to get the ball over the first man from corners is spectacular. He runs around a lot and snarls, but, y'know, that's it.

I really hope someone takes him off our hands, but I pity whichever poor club is stupid enough to sign him.
  • Deleted user 31 July 2013 11:44:03
I'll take your word for it as you've probably seen a lot more of him than I have, but from what I saw of him particularly at Newcastle, he certainly at one point seemed to show some real talent.

Yeah, I'd have self destructed being on that money at that age.

Makes you wonder if there should be some sort of wage cap up to a higher age. Would never work in reality though.
