Great, then we can get lots of articles about how his low centre of gravity really helps him manage.

Truly awful. No surprise it's that scummy spud Kastrinakis.

    James Pearce @JamesPearceEcho
Pepe Reina on his way to Napoli on a season-long loan. Danny Ward has flown to Oz to provide back up to Mignolet and Jones. #LFC
    A loan? Transfer madness.

Who are Liverpool replacing him with?

Guess it wasn't Barca after I love money no wait, too stressful, Monaco is tax fre...relaxing Valdes.

Gets him off the wage bill and leaves the door open for Barca in 2014...

Madness doesn't even come close. Mignolet is a good keeper but Reina is a class above even if he's had a couple of dodgy seasons. Truly hope this doesn't come back to bite us.

What's happened to this incredible Arsenal spending spree Gazidis implied would happen?

Loan deals for players of that calibre are always a little odd in my eyes. Surely wouldn't be that hard for Liverpool to find a permanent deal with someone - hell, he'd be a great signing for Arsenal!

They sold enough season tickets so the spree stays in war chest.

Bold statement considering Mignolet was far superior to Reina last season. It's not like Liverpool need a goalkeeper with European experience these days.

I'll make another one then :)
Reina is (or was as it seems he's going) the best keeper in the EPL since Peter Schmeichel.
The best as in positioning, coming for and collecting crosses, shot stopping and distribution. Recent form however has let him down I'll admit :)

Cech and Van Der Sar comfortably better. Probably others I'm forgetting too.

I beg to differ red. Both great keepers and arguably both had better defences in front of them during their peaks at Chelsea and Man U.

I feel thought that Reina has always been the better all round keeper when you take into account his distribution of the ball which for me just edges him past those two.

Van Der Sar is one of the best keepers the Premier League has ever seen, quite possibly one of the best of all time (up there with your Zoffs, Yashins, Buffons and Schmeichels).

Reina really, really isn't and never has been.

Bloody hell I'd have taken any one of Cech, Given, Seaman, Martyn and Friedel over Reina.

Reina the best since Schmeichel. Fucking hell, I've heard some shite in my time but that's up there. I don't even think they'd have the gall to spew that level of bollocks on RAWK.

Taibi a close third then, yeah?

I'll admit Reina's good, but he's no Roy Carroll.

As far back as I can remember I always wanted to be a ninja.

I bought one, no golden ticket inside though.

Reina is a great keeper. I wouldnt say he's up there with Schmeichel, I think he is on par with Cech though. Whatever everyones opinion is, I am sure we can all agree that he's way too good to be going out on loan

It's not like he's gone to sit on the bench at Peterborough. Saying he's too good to be loaned seems a bit oxymoron.

Reina not in that top class of PL all time keepers for me. The comparison with Cech in particular is way off. People forget what he was like before his head injury. Absolutely unstoppable. Chelsea almost literally never conceded a goal.

Reina is class and I like how active he is in terms of reading play and such, but he's that type that is a bit prone to moments of madness. He doesn't have that icy almost robotic approach that the real greats have.
