"That's his answer to the critics"

Scoring a goal in the league for the first time in almost 1,500 minutes in a meaningless game? Shit watch out, Nando is back!

I was more shocked that Chelsea fans could use such big words.

Carragher getting sent off for pulling people in the box at a corner would have been fitting.

The whole treatment of Rafa just reinforces what utter, hypocritical cunts supporters can be. They act like fragile flowers, "oh no, he disparaged us by referencing plastic flags", but same fans will quite happily chant about a player/manager taking it up the arse*/wife taking it up the arse/taking a child up the arse**, endorsing racist players while cheering on their own pesky foreigners because, well, they're our pesky foreigners etc. Pathetic.

Not confined to Chelsea fans of course, whenever I hear the chants about a Wenger at OT I just shake my head in disgust. Same goes for the Hillsborough/Munich songsmiths - en masse, crowds bring out the worst traits of humanity.

*I have no problem with people willingly taking it up the arse

**I do not endorse taking children up the arse, but at the very least i expect a Jim'll Fix It medal for all concerned

I wanted to see the Liverpool keeper boot the ball directly in Carragher's face which knocks him out cold and the ball deflects back over the keepers head for an own goal and while Carragher is lying face down in the grass he sharts himself.

But you can't always get what you want, I don't think it's sunk in that we'll never see Fergie again or Scholes or Becks, or Owen.....I'll definitely miss them when It's becomes more real.

Superb goals of the season there - pick for me is RVP vs Villa. Bale's against West Ham a close second.

    This.

The Resident Evil films. I'm one of the reasons they keep making them.

Van Persie vs Villa by a country mile for me. Incredible technique. He makes it look so easy.

Run out of superlatives for it really.

I dont like it when i hear Arsenal fans singing "it should have been you" at Adebayor.

    There's a line.

    This.

Anyone that has played football will tell you that to hit a ball like that coming over your shoulder, after watching it travel 60 yards is pretty fucking special.

I struggle to think of many players in the league that would even think about attempting that, let alonr pulling it off.

    Hated, adored, never ignored.

Just a thought for the Spurs fans:

Imagine if Arsenal don't get past the qualification round of the Champions League...

@Syrette - the longer Arsenal stay in the CL, the better for Spurs.

With schadenfreude I guess. They're certainly not easy ties these days, Zenit look like the biggest club we could draw.

Edit: It's also why we tend not to spend huge amounts until CL is secured. Hoping that will be different this year...

    With a laugh?

You know, all that drama and they don't make it into the thing properly anyway. Won't make you feel better about missing out yourselves, but still.
