So Sinclair on his way out of Man City then.

    Worst signing of the season?

Remy was a decent signing: they might make their money back on him, and they'll certainly get him off the wage bill.
All their other signings were shit though; Samba may have been the worst.

As Harry almost suicidally pointed out, if he was that good, he would have scored more than five goals.

I'd have to go for League 1 reject TBH being the worst although I'm sure he isn't on anywhere near as much as Samba.

True enough, but I'm sure he's one they'll get offers for and get off their wage bill. Maybe not from Man U or even Tottenham, but from a top division club here or in France.

Yeah, he will never kick a ball in the championship, but harry is doing a good job of keeping his price down.

Hoilett always looks like a good player to me, I'm sure he'd flourish somewhere. Or he could go to Man City and be another promising British player warming a bench.

Fernandes should give him a cut of all the sales like they did at Pompey. At least that might stop him acting like such a cunt and slagging them off in the press.

Only 5m I think, so it's not been a disaster for them financially. Javi Garcia at nearly 16m, perhaps? I liked him at first but he doesn't seem to get much of a look-in and isn't very highly rated by, well, anyone.

I did wonder if I was errant in my assumption regarding his birthplace.

    Maicon?

Was highly rated until Bale tore him a new one, don't remember the last time I saw him play/ heard his name mentioned.

    Christian Bale plays Batman
This is just a smoke screen for the real Batman
    Gareth Bale IS Batman
    Who hates Batman?
    The Joker
Lionel Messi is the Joker. He can make any team piss themselves.
Ronaldo is a robot designed by Bale to defeat Ronaldo
    He failed.

Got to be up there. At the time it reminded me of when Chelsea bought Steve Sidwell, and it turned out about the same too. Wealthy club that had just spent loads to build a title winning squad, now trying to pick up bargain English players, neither player played a huge amount and contributed little in an ultimately disappointing season. Admittedly Sinclair was, what, 8m? But it was still a strange signing than you never felt would work.
