Why am I getting called a retard for expressing my opinion anyway? Thought EG was meant to be a more mature and less 'YouTubey' environment where everyone's calling each other a retard lool.
The irony of you using 'YouTubey' is the huge amounts of racism there, something you seem fine with, apparently.

Again, it's nothing to do with 'letting him stay'. They are a mid table team that won't even be in Europe next season. He is one of the most talented players on the continent.

'Letting him stay' doesn't come into it.
It's fairly obvious that Liverpool would love to keep him despite all this.

In some ways, this is the best possible thing that could have happened, as it actually increases the chances of him saying to a degree.

We all know liverpool will sell him for 40mil and then spend 25mil on Michu and 15mil on Weismann.

Or is that the other way round?

That's not what I'm saying. If any of the clubs who he should be playing for approach Liverpool, they simply won't be able to keep him.

'Gee Mr Bayern Munich, thanks for the offer but I'd rather stay here with these average players and fight for a possible Europa League Spot. There's whispers we could even win the Carling Cup again this year!'.

I'm still hoping they put a 23 million bit in for Shola to be honest.

About right. With a repeated offence I would have liked slightly more, but for once they appear to have got the balance about right.

Well he's going to be harder to shift for the dollar Liverpool are looking for then innit.

Liverpool should dock his wages for the duration of the ban as well. That might actually pinch him.

He could bite the whole liverpool board and they wouldnt do anything. Hes by far the best striker they are ever likely to get and hes holding them over a barrel, really.

Not relevant to the biting charge, but it made me laugh when I saw it last night.

That's my afternoon entertainment sorted :D

    TheGOAT had this to say:

    Corruption. That simple.
    From Melbred:

Not surprised, but doesn't make me any less pissed.

Exactly what I expected. The FA can fuck off. We should boycott the FA Cup, the fucking twats.

Someone should ask if they've have the same view if an Everton striker bit someone.

I can't emphasise that enough, because the fact is: he bit someone. He attacked someone with his teeth. Like an animal. In a game, in a civilised country, a millionaire footballer bit someone and they're saying that is fine.

LB, you really are a massive geek.
