Reckon Liverpool will beat Chelsea, so it's all to play for for Spurs.

Great substitutions by AVB, would like to see him start with Defoe ahead of Adebayor next game though.
I assumed Defoe had a knock, because Adebayor is obviously dross.

Mancini sacked in the morning? Or after they lose the FA Cup final? :p

Big deal for Spurs too. Three London clubs neck and neck, no champions league means less money, less transfer bargaining power and for Spurs a guaranteed Bale exit. Getting an F1 finish this year :)

So what message was Mancini trying to send with Lescott subbed up front for the final minutes?

    "I am a clown"?

Spurs take Adebayor off, and look what happens...

Defoe had been injured. It was suggested he didn't want to risk two players coming back from injury at the start.

The fact that we changed to 4-3-3, put Bale on the right and put Huddlestone on changed the game. But yeah, Adebayor.

He tends to bring back injured players slowly but i would be surprised if he starts with Ade next week.

As for Ade i really don't know whats gone wrong with him? Maybe he would work better working behind Defoe?

Liverpool-Chelsea is usually a terrible fixture, isn't it?

Hoping for a Torres goal. Guys on 20 goals this season and still gets jip. Maybe one today, with recent form, will quiet the haters.

If he still has his mask on, then I reckon Torres will score.

    Former Bolton midifelder Fabrice Muamba:
"Kompany and Lescott's centre-back partnership won Manchester City the league last year. You reckon Lescott has changed that much as a player in a season?"

He may look like a Klingon, but he's a good defender, is Lescott.

Yeah, but has 20 goals combined this season. Better than most. Not many strikers in the BPL have more goals in all competitions this season. I get the jib for last season, but this season is a bit harsh.

    Wouldn't mind him at Arsenal.

@The-Bodybuilder Would love him at Newcastle along side Taylor, when Colo goes.

I still have hope of playing for Chelsea, as long as Obi-Mikel still starts for them...awful.

    Nah mate, he's bobbins.
He wasn't bought for cup goals in the Europa or Carling Cup (or whatever its called), he was bought for the League and CL. 7 Goals in the league for the League's most expensive player ever, is bobbins.

It's like Arsenal fans saying Giroud has been pretty good because he's scored 17 goals all season (7 in the league, 6 of them at home). I understand any total near 20 goals will always sound good, but that's just stats bending.

    Yeah, he's bobbins.

    He's bobbins too.
Admittedly, Mourinho played his part in changing him from an AM into a boring DM (oh look, big black dude. Let's make him a DM). Sadly, he's so hungry for money he was happy to let himself get turned to bobbins and to sit on the bench for cash.

I actually forgot he played for Chelsea. Where is he?
