I don't think Kamiya's actually played the game. He was just sick of being asked about it.

Just played the opening mission and I'm loving it. I found it quite humorous in places and I love the soundtrack.

Ninja theory have done a great job.

If only Eurogamer provided helpful spoiler tags for those who wanted to talk about a storyline.

What sort of idiotic developer makes their games accessible to people!? Madness!

Well damn me and my seemingly mainstream donkey ways, but personally this is the best action fighter I've played in some time and is the most enjoyable DMC I've played since the first one.

Games like this don't come around often. Bayonetta was the last,we were robbed with NG3.

So far Ninja Theory have done a great job. Thank you Level 10. Die Murdoch!!!

This game makes me feel badass, and I actually have some kind of idea what I'm doing, rather than learning the moves and then mashing the buttons in real fights. Plus Dante seems exactly the same to me, cocky, full of awful one-liners, and pretty cool.

Played the demo and quite enjoyed it but to be honest it can be quite a brain strain trying to remember all the different moves. Holding the triggers and button presses is fidgety and makes combat less fluid.

    @itinkuravinalaff

I didn't play the demo, but the way the full game slowly opens up to the full move set is perfectly balanced, allowing you to learn one weapon, or particular move, before moving on to another.

I think going by popular opinion on the Metacritic user page and a lot of forums most people on the internet hate this.

So, I put it to you that the people who don't like it are the mainstream donkeys (?). I actually think it's quite good and don't have a problem with it's combat. I have played the previous games and don't think it's *that* far off. I'm sure the higher difficulties will please the people saying it's too easy.

Loving this (especially the art style), but I hope there are more varied enemy types the further in I get.

There were still new types of enemy being introduced 18 missions in.

But then being the goddamned mainstream donkey that I am, I would say that.

The art style really is incredible. I wasn't expecting much from NT here. I thought Enslaved was colourful for the sake of it, often too bright and ugly because if it, but this glorious to look at.

The one thing I do think is missing from Enslaved is the facial animation. I just don't think it's as good as Enslaved, which is a shame.

The art style in general though is fantastic, the shifting of the levels and the shadows of the real world looks great. On Son of Spada mode now, seems more challenging already.

Ninja Theory game. I called it several pages ago.

Tried it. Still a Ninja Theory game.

Its not quite the travesty that is Ninja Gaiden 3 but its still piss poor compared to the previous games. The combat is far too simplistic for my tastes and there's a tad too much hand holding considering the series's heritage.

That Capcom handed it over to Ninja Theory clearly shows their aim for the series is a more relaxed gaming audience who aren't going to pore through the combo screen to refine their combos. Oh well, another loss. :/

Btw, it is laughable that I can land SS combos in five hits. Its just....insulting.

I don't understand Ninja Theory. Good stories (for games), they take care of presentation, graphics, music, voice acting (Gold star in this category), animation, etc. all the peripheral stuff basically. But their actual games are just....fluff.

    Heavenly Sword
    Enslaved
    DmC

All of them. Its like they want to make movies but don't have the budget so they make games, so to speak.
