    Read that as hitting.

Give yourself 5 or gig, you're worth it.

That's a pretty amazing response on the tickets given Fox only bothered to start showing his TV series in the UK yesterday...

They are still available but it only seems like ones that have missed reservations are going through. Managed to get a couple for the Apollo by F5ing constantly!!

http://www.eventim.co.uk was the place I got them from.

Just managed to get some from that site as well. Not a very productive morning at work.

It's all good stuff but I've seen these "bits" before in different contexts.

Nothing quite ruins the magic of these guys than seeing the same bit again but slightly different - you really see the strings. I get that it's how it works and everything, but i do hate seeing them on talk shows for this reason. Something a bit cringe about seeing them be set up to just launch into their standard bit.

    Love Louie though.

Rather shocked that no-one seems to have linked to this:

40 quid a ticket is definitely on the high side for a standup gig.

Especially when I've seen Stanhope multiple times for 20 and he's arguably got a bigger following in this country.

Wasn't he the guy who sold tickets on his own website to keep ticket prices down. What happened?

Stanhope nowhere near the draw that Louis CK is. Plus he is nowhere near as good.

I paid 110 to see Seinfeld at O2 a couple of years back. He was totally awesome.

Well. He is, you are totally wrong and stuff. But - he was a sellout, 15,000 people or whatever. Cheapest seats were 85 IIRC.

40 for Louis really isn't bad though. He's pretty much the most important stand up the world has had since early Connolly.

    How dare our opinions differ.

He was well worth the 110, as I said. And the business model of supply and demand appeared to agree.

Its ok if you don't rate him as a standup. I am sure you have seen him live in order to make that judgement.

I find it depressing that capitalist business ideology should be a justification for extortionate ticket prices for a night of jokes.

Me too. It was extortionate don't get me wrong. But if you wanted to see him perform in a rare performance in the UK, that is what the price was, take or leave.
