    @fletch7100

    Blood Money was great, but that had its own share of foibles and frustrating levels. The fairground wasn't exactly stellar, the hotel hit relied too much on pinpoint timing and the final mission in the Whitehouse was hideous, game logic wasn't consistent and as usual AI was seriously suspect and context controls were temperamental but on the other hand it had great setups like the Opera and the Rehab clinic and some really razor-sharp wit.

    As with any Hitman, you take the good with the bad - for every good level there will be a poor one, AI will be poor and some systems will either seem unbalanced or redundant.

    Oh, and the plot will always be cliched bobbins, but that's no different from 99% of game plots (or any work of fiction from the big screen to the printed page)

    Oh there was from one person. Including a desire to see people sacked from the dev team.

    Btw - anyone else had an issue where for some reason the 360 drops its connection to Live whilst playing this?

    It seems to do it randomly during gameplay in both campaign and contracts mode (rather than being always at the main menu for example). I know it's not my internet because my connection remains stable and fast on my other devices with no router issues, and I know it's not my console because my NAT settings are all open and it doesn't happen in any other game, just this one.

    I had this a lot today (before my game breaking crash) I also had a lot of the game stuttering, which I did not have the previous days I had played...be careful.

    Yeah Blood money bas its faults, it's just that I prefer some of its smaller details and overall idea for how each level/puzzle should be.

    Both have good and bad points. I enjoyed my time with Absolution, its still going straight into a trade in on Friday anyway

    Contracts is excellent. Not boring at all imo but one of the best forms of multiplayer and extending the life of a game I have seen in a very, very long time.

    It's also an excellent way to learn the layout of the levels.

    100% agree. Very scummy thing to say.

    The much criticized save/checkpoint system sucks so bad that makes the game worth recommending only to people with infinite time for trial & error..What's the point in having checkpoints,that once you load every enemy that took ages to neutralise and hide magically reappears and spots you?Most stupid checkpoint system ever?Can't believe such an idiotic feature made it past play testing.It ruins an otherwise very decent game.

    The walkthrough they gave of Contracts at the Expo was great. They really should have shouted more about it in interviews on marketing instead of the regrettable shooty shooty trailers and leather sex nun facepalmery.

    I would like to see make your own level editor for the next hitman game.

    Also I really think they need to scrape these A to B levels to get to the target or run from the police. Just have big levels and multiple way to kill your target with "fun" accidents.

    I read the head guy is really into grind house and thats why the GH feel & the "leather sex nuns killers" were put into the game as thats very GH type of thing

    only last 3 are fun to take out in that huge level, also scarecrow outfit!

    @ghostwhistler take the game back for a refund/swap if it's so bad.Or sell it.Honestly if you hate the game so much why keep posting in thread about it?

    The game works fine for me mostly. Developers aren't immune to criticism. Plenty of people in this thread have criticised design decisions in this game in a much more measured manner.

    I think you need to lose the hyperbole.

    Of course you criticise game developers (although do get some who will not hear a bad word about the game, seen this in AC3 and RE6 recently)

    With blood money, I had it on the Xbox and then got it on 360 and still have it on 360. With Hitman: Absolution, I don't really want to play it again tbh (send it back to LF today) not because it was really bad but due to the factors already mentioned

    I'm quite surprised people could persist with Blood Money. However the amount of praise it gets in here is making me want to try it again. I just remember it being lackluster. I think the controls were poor as well.

    The controls were a bit awkward at times (it was similar to other ps2/xbox games of it time) but nothing game breaking

    Man, you are way off on this one, mate. It's fantastic. You ruined it for yourself by charging through it all guns blazing...

    Oh sweet Jesus. Best level yet.

    The one where 47 gets a new suit. The tension was unbearable. Would it be snug yet comfy ?!

    Serious stuff.

    @ghostwhistler

    The game isnt broken. Stop being hyperbolic.

    If you don't like it, trade it in. You were given the same advice in the cod thread after you went in there and shat all over it.

    @Shikasama

    Yeah I enjoyed that part of the level. Took the item, didn't know what would happen, wandered around the level then the kill scores started popping up on the screen :)
