I got it when it was 12 - great value. I certainly will not buy it for 42, as I simply don't use it enough.

What worries me is that there is no auto renew I can see anywhere in my settings (there is an end date), so hopefully it won't auto-renew and pilfer 42 from me!
Now that you'll be able to have it running in the background on PS4, I might subscribe at some point. But having to have it open, not being able to do anything while playing music isn't something I'll pay for.
Err, this from the ps forum doesn't fill me with confidence.

    Music Unlimited auto renew

Few!! That actually was all I needed to know! It's actually pretty good, but the interface doesn't need to be all so graphically intensive, something like spotify would be perfect!

Just posted this in the vita thread because I happened to be there when I found out, but both the PS3 and Vita versions of Jak and Daxter seem to be available. You only seem to be able to get one though - if you put one in your basket the other will tell you you're not eligible to download it.
    Does this both ways.
Since this was just meant to be the PS3 version even though it's cross buy, it seems they're letting you pick one instead, at least for now.

Would not let me download Jak earlier on Vita although it did let me "buy" it.

Put this down to the ropey internet here.

AC3 is there to download as well, looks like they've jumped the gun on the September update slightly.

I don't hold AC3 in much regard, to say the least, at least it's "free".

Potentially a stupid question but I noticed under my Instant Game Collection on PS3 that it listed 18 titles as available but I know for a fact that I've redeemed plenty more than that. For example, Spec Ops wasn't listed but when I searched for it, it was there to download.

Is there some sort of default filter applied so I can't see my entire collection?

I think the IGC section only shows the games available to download this month. If you want to see the full list of games you've added to your downloads, go into Transcations Management > Download List.

Are you serious? Are you actually being serious? Far Cry 3 AND Dragons Dogma? As if I didn't have enough games! I'll download but I'll have to put them on the backburner til I complete some games.

I've built up quite a nice collection of Vita games in 6 months.
I'll be buying a Vita before a PS4 me thinks.

Two brilliant PS3 games (FC3 & DD:DA)!! I've nearly bought both of them before, so am thrilled I'll get chance to play 'em. Not a Street Fighter fan, but I'll give that and Katamari a bash on my Vita.

    Brilliant PS+ update!!

Even though these are "rentals" PS are really doing an awesome job with PS+ yet again you have to say well done to Sony.
I have no need to download as I have both on 360, both excellent games, but if you have not played them get playing ;)

Was just about to buy DD, people in the EG thread seem seriously enthusiastic about it. Tekken and Katamari also ace :-D

    What's Gianna Sisters?

    Ace selection.

I'm a bit worried about DD:DA though - I finished the original on the 360 (and loved it) and wondered if you import characters or can start from scratch?

My only interest is the new content - any help would be appreciated, thanks!

Holy shit, been meaning to buy FC3, SFxT and Giana Sisters. PS+ is too good, hopefully the new Tomb Raider will be up soon.

It's basically Super Mario Brothers. Blatantly ripped off in the C64 days and has stuck around since.
Not as such. It used to be, the old 8 and 16 bit ones were a blatant copy. The newer one has the common ground that it's a platformer, in that respect it's just as much a Rayman or Sonic copy, you could argue semantics. Certainly its origins are in being a Mario clone.

I have it on PC and it is rather challenging, I think they've updated it since to make it a bit easier but I can't be sure. After rage quitting on one boss fight I've not been back in months. It has lovely visuals and the switching of sisters on the fly is a nice touch, certain platforms and areas can only be accessed in the light/dark world but these will often be midway through a level's progression rather than an optional detour.

Certainly it can't be sniffed at as a free rental.

At least on PS3 you can continue your character and you even get a nice little bonus for having an old character.

But are disc copy saves compatible with digital editions?
I say that as I have 3 copys of Demon's Souls on my trophy list. Black Phantom, Greatest hits & Digital.
The greatest hits save didn't carry over to the black phantom edition I upgraded to.
