    @ComradePete Ha, that's bloody amusing.

I think you might be onto something about those titles ;)

Excellent! I own none of those. :) Think I'll Google Big Sky Infinity-I like the name, at any rate.

@StixxUK Pretty similar I think, supposedly they both have around 18 million tracks.

Having used them both I'd say music unlimited is a good alternative to Spotify, unless your house is full of Sony stuff I'd still give Spotify the edge for various reasons (mostly subjective), but if you can still get Music Unlimited at the PS Plus price then it's utterly essential.

Mortal Kombat's not for me, but loved Arkham Asylum and will give Vanquish a go

Damn, awesome games but they've somehow managed to choose 3 of the very tiny selection of games that I've completed in the last few years!

So how does one set it up to download games overnight then? THe only thing I could find was for updates & "recommendations". I want it to download LBP2, Crysis and Red Dead...

@StixxUK Just start the downloads then go to switch the console off via the XMB like you normally would. You'll then get an option to have the console switch off automatically once the downloads are complete.

It doesn't do the semi shutdown thing that the 360 does for background downloads.

Wow. What fantastic PSN Plus offers for december. I already played Batman: Arkham City, but anyone who hasn't should definitely get it. One of the best games this generation.

As for myself, I'll get Vanquish and Limbo. Been holding out for Limbo, and well - not sure whether I'll like Vanquish or not, but this is the right way to test that out.

@frugtkompot - exactly. Your only risk is the time and effort of downloading it :)

Well, with PSN that can at times be quite a considerable risk :)

Is it possible to purchase items off the PSN (ie the 90 days of PSN+) if one is not yet signed up? I am still waiting on delivery of my PS3 from Amazon and probably won't have it until Monday at the soonest?

    O.K, PS3 noob incoming....

Just sold my Xbox and ordered my Super Slim PS3. Got a 500gb HDD on the way (plus caddy as well) Will get my PS3 on monday (HDD should arrive within a day or so of it.) Few questions for you guys:

1: I want to get PS Plus, does the PS3 come with some sort of trial on it, or should I get shopping for some Plus time now?

2: Am I right in thinking I can download the free games etc, but if a 90 day or a trial that comes with the PS3 runs out I won't have access to them?

3: Even after researching, I'm pretty sure a normal laptop HDD plus caddy will actually fit in a new super slim? I know it's smaller, but I'm hoping it's not because they removed this option?

4: Having come from the 360, I made the switch to PS3 to take advantage of the exclusives I've missed out on since launch. I've got Resistance and Uncharted to start off with (will also be getting the sequels if I like them) I'll also be getting LBP2 and InFamous 2 with Plus. Which other should I check out? I have no idea what's good or bad, having only ever kept an eye on the 360's games and it's exclusives. (Hate Halo, btw.)

    Thanks for any help, guys...

Adding to this, I am signed up, but also won't have my PS3 till Monday. I want to take advantage of this offer too! Any way I can?

It's certainly worth the money for people like me who have just bought a PS3. Will have to subscribe someway. I'm used to paying 30 a year just to play online and get ripped off by MS, so I'm sure carrying it on and getting shit loads of free games and still play online for 30 a year is fine by me.
