I reckon we will edge it tonight, so I'll go with 2 - 1 to United.

We'll lose in the second leg.

As a Leicester city supporter, and have just been knocked out of the FA cup by plucky Huddersfield, I'm just hoping for a decent game of attacking football.

And hopefully Ronaldo won't cry over every decision that doesn't go his way for a change

Even with the "apart from", the statement still isn't true. :p
It's true: the transport links are terrible, there's no decent schools if you have kids, and there aren't any good shops or a nice pub nearby.

I can't wait for tonight's game, this is what CL should be about, massive games. I do think Madrid will most likely edge it, but I have a good feeling about a performance from us this evening.

Certainly don't think it will be anywhere near as one sided as a lot seem to think it will be.

What about the Bayern Arsenal game everyone?!

    edit: CAPS LOCK

Edit 2: It's not on tonight!

Sitting in a pub in Madrid, sinking pints ahead of the game. Could not be happier.

The Sky Sports app is worth a look for non Sky subscribers. £5 a month gets you all the sports channels including ESPN and Sky's F1 channel. Not a bad deal if you ask me.

speaking of which, does anyone follow that bloodzeed streaming fella on twitter? Was useful (up to a point) when I needed updates on streams at uni where I didn't have a TV but now...well he's a moron basically.

Does that work outside of UK?

Can you airplay the Sky Sports app?

    I'm assuming not...
  • Deleted user 13 February 2013 14:46:29
Skygo? I just use it over Wifi. Or am I missing something with these new technical terms.

    What resolution is it?
    Presumably HDMI can be used.
  • Deleted user 13 February 2013 15:01:23
No, I specifically mean the Sky Sports app, not Sky Go.

And Airplay is the feature whereby you can mirror what's on your ipad to your TV, however certain things don't allow it and imagine this would be one, as otherwise you would use it instead of Sky Sports itself (which is exactly what I'm considering).

Can't see it being allowed, it's why they stopped Sky Mobile I thought? If you can output in some way, I'd definitely consider it and save £40 a month.

The quality would be nowhere near watchable on anything bigger though. SkyGo on 'high' buffers to fuck at the best of times and just passes as 'SD quality' on my 24" monitor.

True enough, mine's the same. Not so much buffering, but the bitrate is terrible

Led to believe that a van Persie/1-0 double is 100/1. That has to be a mistake, surely...

It's because Madrid have scored in every home game since the splitting of the land masses.

There are probably exceptions, but yeah, it's a rarity.
