If facebook is to believed Puyol has sustained some rather painful looking injury. Anyone know what happened?

    De Gea hasn't done much.
That one was just for you.
He had a few for me in the end.

    Must be shit.

Saying shit like this just encourages people if he makes a mistake to go OTT.

Just enjoy the performances and leave the comments out.

Read about the Puyol injury, don't fancy watching it though. If he's out for a while it could affect the title race, since they'll probably end up playing Mascherano back there, and he's nowhere near as good.

As for Utd.. I've started to wonder where we'd be had RVP not signed.
  • Deleted user 2 October 2012 22:34:22
Curiosity got the better of me, really wish I hadn't watched it. From the looks of it, it does look like he will be out for a while.

We'd be fine had RVP not signed, every year people say we're reliant on one player. He is a class act though, still can't believe he actually plays for us.

Good game tonight. The Danes were a bit like Liverpool under Rogers at the start, trying to play a passing game but giving the ball away and giving us easy chances. Moses was prevented from scoring in the 3rd minute by an epic bit of defending from this 20 year old CB Okore who looked world class, Torres should have got a goal or two. Second half they were a lot better and controlled the game at one point which led to a couple of decent chances and a great save from Cech. In the end their defence was tired from working hard with this passing game and after Luiz scored an unstoppable freekick we strolled on to victory.

Good to see SSN are still portraying City as plucky underdogs in their preview for the Dortmund game. No doubt the studio panel will do the same on Sky Sports tomorrow.

Robben, Ribery and Schweinsteiger were unable to master Bate last night.

Zenit vs AC Milan is todays 5pm kick off. Could be a good game but they are two teams who have had bad transfer windows. AC Milan sold all their best players (although El Shaawary looks good) and Zenit have underperformed after spending big money on Hulk and Witsel. The problem being that the rest of the squad are mightlily pissed that they are earning 3 times more them, so much so that the Russian captain is now playing in the youth team.

I guess it's normal that you can't hear the Man City fans as they're away.
    Oh....

Frustration already at the Emirates following a largely uneventful opening 18 minutes. Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain sparks the first instance of crowd ire by knocking a pass straight out of play on the right touchline.

All because we're not up 3-0 within 20 minutes.

Unimpressive defending by Arsenal there for that equaliser. No pressure on the man at all.

I wish United could play the kind of crisp attacking football this dortmund team play.

    Kagawa must miss it.
