It was... okay. A tad too much convenient killing off of troublesome characters and there seemed to be a massive narrative leap where they somehow found the blokey in that abandoned mall (or did I miss something?)

I thought it was a bit weak myself. Luther being arrested was a real huh moment. Ok they explained it and it sort of made sense but it was based entirely on theory which they had no evidence for. Luther wanting Ripley dead actually made no sense given Ripley having told the internal affairs bloke to get lost. They knew Luther knew that as well as they knew he took the recorder.

I also did not like how bad guy found out where Luthers girl friend was from a message on Luthers phone. Given he found out where she was in the previous episode in exactly the same way. Bad guy also suddenly had no issues killing policemen.

@Tricky They found the bloke in the abandoned mall because they traced his phone. That did seem a bit easy.

Overall I think the writing was really weak in the last couple of episodes. The first two were much better.

Very late to this as only just finished 1st series on Netflix and a couple into the 2nd. Quite like it, some are better than others. Missed it on terrestrial but will start to catch up now.

Just watched all 3 series over the last week or so, totally passed me and the wife by during its first run.
Excellent 12 episodes with series 3 probably being the highlight. I have read a film is going to be made, but maybe no more tv series :(
At least Mary might get a spin off series.

It took me a while to find this on Netflix because my British friends all told me I should watch Loofah.

I've only watched luther for the first time a few months back. Cracking show. The rpg gamers (if you can call em that) was a good episode.

Impressive that the bad guy managed to refit that access panel and move the fridge back in front of it from the other side of it all.

I've just watched the latest episode on iplayer and it was actually excellent. Had my doubts as I didn't enjoy series 3 as much as the previous ones. Really can't wait until next week!

I hope they make another series or even a film. It's a shame this is only two episodes!

2 episodes is ridiculously short though that hardly qualifies as a season. First episode was excellent

    I said the same.
My wife told me to shut up.

My wife said it to me. I pointed out the way Luther just casually chucked it to one side as a its not a real fridge moment. He could have pulled the fake fridge into position before sliding the grate back

I can look past that sort of thing, but I can't look past it being a bit of a retread of the past three series. I'm glad they had the foresight to do just a two parter, series 3 just ran out of steam.

I watched it early this morning. I agree, was just a bit meh to be honest. A bird he liked died. I'm still not entirely sure why. Another bird was using it to get Luthor to do stuff for quite frankly poor reasons and there was a cannibal killer.

    Yeah...
