    I skipped PS3/360. Do you recommend this game? It's available on Xbox One via backwards compatibility. Is the Games on Demand version full of bugs and glitches like the other versions? The reviews are devastating.

    i enjoyed it...but then i'd soak up anything in silent hill...love the franchise...

    If you're curious, just watch a playthrough on YouTube.

    To save you some time, don't bother with The Order 1886 either.

    played it on ps3 but dont remember any...but then its many games ago now...:D

    (and ignore pacrifice about the order - it's not as bad as he makes out, just crying out for a sequel..;) )

    I liked "Downpour" quite a lot - certainly more than the combat-oriented "Homecoming" that preceded it. IMHO Downpour was the best of the outsourced SH games, i.e. the ones that came after the real-deal in-house SH games (1-4).

    Played it on Xbox 360 (disc ver.) and I do remember encountering some kind of bug to do with the subways that connect various areas around the town. Can't remember exactly what the bug was anymore, but it wasn't anything game-breakingly serious.

    Homecoming (360) was far more buggy than Downpour, and the travesty that was the Xbox 360 version of the "Silent Hill HD Collection" (SH2+SH3) made Downpour look like fine-tuned high art.
