    Yeah, me too. Those two martian rovers that lasted way past their expected lifetime are also great. I think Opportunity is still going.

    Oh yes. That Russian meteor should encourage people to look up, except in the UK, where they'll see clouds as per usual. Actually, it's not bad at the moment.

    Loved the link to the story in the Guardian - "Big asteroid to pass Earth today should miss". I bloody well hope it is going to miss!

    This Russian meteor, can anyone remember anything like this happening before? Remarkably little is being made of it, it's more of a "and finally" story. I suppose they must happen regularly, just not in populated areas (with mental roads requiring you to record everything!).

    Clouded over perfectly where I am. Probably got another 1.5 hours in which I might see it, but I suspect it aint gonna happen. Just have to watch the news.
