    here.

Shame, as it could have probably looked really nice on a PC. Guess this will fuel people that say PC gaming is dying.

No PC version, no sale - oh well. Either it'll get ported later, or it'll have to wait until sometime in a few years when I maybe, maybe get a 360. Shame.

I think Heavy Rain is probably going to cover everything I wanted from Alan Wake in the interim. Is he really firing rocket launchers in it now?

Gears of Alan. His new tagline his "Fuck yea!" and "Come get some you motherless elf scum!"

    That's a flare.

Gosh that's disappointing. The Alan's Cake vids I've seen have been a tearfest. >:|

Probably the main reason they are not putting it on PC is on PC = no sale ;)

As you say though it might get ported later when 360 sales start to wane.

You know... we're all to blame for this in a way. Every time a decent 360 game was discussed everyone would say "Why play it on 360, just play it on PC, it'll be better" or "Who needs to buy a 360 when all the 'exclusives' come to the PC".

So Microsoft did something about it. What's the last MS published title that got a PC port? I believe it's Gears, and none since.

PC gaming is a long way off dying. There have never been more high quality indie games, multiplayer / online games and most of the best SP games still cross over to PC, if not developed for PC first.

I take this more as a sign that Alan Wake is a bit of a turkey.

Most MS published titles since Gears are shite, and they get lumbered with GFW which just compounds the shiteness.

    GFW does indeed blow goats.

Restricting stuff to the 360 isn't going to make me buy a 360 - it's just going to make me not buy the games.

Not really but if it's not coming to PC i don't see why i should worry about it and as the 360 is not my primary gaming machine i've got other games to play. I can wait a few months to get it on 360.

    This signature intentionally left blank.

That's a strange decision, because with the tone of past trailers (haven't seen the latest one, yet) but, you'd think it was built for a platform like the PC, with optimum visual fidelity, a laid-back pace, and an engrossing tale to tell.
This announcement causes my enthusiasm for seeing what A. Wake is like to falter, if it will be a console game alone.
It also makes me want to see someone shine a light on the development process.

I guess I'll just buy it on the 360 then and throw my pc in the bin.

Why no 360? You one of these people like otto that refuse to by MS products?

    Come and get it cumslingers!
