Unless I'm much mistaken, Zod appears to be in some kind of battle armour. Wonder if the Kryptonian Warsuit will make an appearance.

Space suit with the traditional 80s glamrocker bin-liner suit underneath.

It is Zod? Haha - yeah! Who doesn't love Zod? I mean, really.

I'm doubting he'll have the same sense of humour he did in Supe 2, though. :(

That's because you're selfish. Superman doesn't care about how good he has it - he's concerned about the big picture!

Pretty cool. Still looks like a Terence Malick film.

At the very least it's not going to be another Green Lantern, so that's something.

Tiniest tiniest little hint of John Williams kind of at the end of the trailer as well. It's not THE THEME, but there was a little bit of a feel of it with those strings and that rhythm.
Like the new batman films there will be no use of the original theme. It's all new.

    You dare to strike Scurrcules!?

Meh, I just don't like the whole 'woe is me' angle. Lighten up Superman. Live it up a bit in between sorting out all the world's problems.

Does he actually sleep with women or does he avoid it because of his thrusting power.

The issue of Superman's glumness is directly stated right there in the trailer. He's under the impression that mankind will ultimately reject him when he reveals himself (and given the whole handcuffs and under army guard and whatnot, that initially seems to happen).

    Basically Lukus is a jerk.

You know the music isn't the John Williams theme, right?

    Heyo!
  • Deleted user 11 December 2012 18:26:56
We should do the whole "the Superman theme is an intrinsic part of the character" debate again.

Gremmi would cheer him up. Gremmi would cheer him up real good.

Basically Gremmi is gay for Superman.

If he wants to be accepted maybe he shouldn't wear his bright red fucking underpants over his skin tight blue leggings. Fucking hipster twat.

That music is from Gladiator. Be interesting to see what they do come up with for the final film.

Could do without the Gladiator music.
I'm not convinced that is the Gladiator music, it is very similar in style though.
  • Deleted user 11 December 2012 19:09:21
It's probably generic trailer music that was used at some point in Gladiator. I've lost track of how many trailers have used the main theme from Sunshine now.
