Am at the tavern in a city past mercs gate 25, adding codes.

Looks like there's a bit of instability going on.

Unfortunately, you can only add them when they're online. Silly, I know. Best tell people when you're going on using the forum and add them accordingly. Once you've registered the code, the system works quite well.

    ^^ Done.

Anyone else who isn't yet on the master list but wants me to add them, pm me to let me know. It's easier than trawling through all the posts.

Apologies if somebody has already posted their name and code and I've not put you on the list. Again, pm reminder will suffice.

Sorry Dan, I've only just finished playing. We'll try to find each other next time.

ANyway, I've got about 15 min. of footage. I'll try to pick the bit that best represents what the average sound was. (Still learning editing.) When it's up I'll let everyone know.

Apart from that, I had a good time this evening. Fun playing with Cid, Jystyn and Redcrayon; although we took a few knocks, we won more than we lost. And, as for Wii Speak, there are tweaks people can do to experiment with sound, but overall it helped more than it hindered IMHO>

Here's the wired adaptor I use:

    http://tinyurl.com/33p4ygc

There are sure to be cheaper ones available elsewhere. If you can use one of these with your Wii, do so. I played Tatsunoko Vs Capcom over Wi-Fi and it was a laggy mess. Started using this and it was greatly improved.

Fuck, fuck, fuckity fuck! I keep getting kicked. You guys go ahead without me. BT broadband really is shit.

Too bad you got kicked, Jim. Is it your connection or were you getting one of these MH-related errors people keep talking about?

    /dopey question

Does this connect the Wii directly to the router?

Router and Wii are in same room, PC is upstairs (connected by wifi)

Not as nice as I used to be

    That should be fine.

    My set up is:

    Router

    Cable to ethernet hub

    Ethernet hub

Cables to Wii, PS3, 360 and PC.

So all I'm doing is using the hub as a cable extension, really.

Anyway, I've uploaded the Wii Speak test vid to youtube, but the pic quality isn't high enough so I'm uploading another version now.

I've been playing around with my WS settings, so I"ll jot down what I did. Then, if other people try the same thing, perhaps we can do another test. That way all parties will have optimised their set-up. Perhaps that's the main issue with it.

    About you mate ;-)

Is anyone up for a hunt on Saturday afternoon? I'll hang around at our usual spot (recruiting/mercs/gate 25) doing some quests if any EGers want to join the culling.

Probably won't be about tonight, but saturday afternoon / evening should be good for me. Looking forward to some EG hunting, so far only done one online quest with a random bloke, and it was pretty awesome.
